For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

A short, tense horror experience. While I played the game a little over a month ago, and had gotten it for the low low price of free, I will try my best not to let either of those things affect my review, so as to give the best feedback and help the dev improve.

Atmosphere & Design
The atmosphere of the game and the sound design was top-notch. The atmosphere of the house was genuinely unsettling. The constant feeling that something is just around the corner, just beyond the area illuminated by the flashlight, really gets to you. And the sound of the unending rain beating on the windows adds to the unnerving feel. Having the majority of the jumpscares be "your mind playing tricks on you" instead of explicit jumpscares really adds to the atmosphere too. Overall, not much to say. Its just really solid.

Pacing
While the pacing works just fine, I will say that it does get a little bumpy, especially in the last few days. On that note, I do feel like the secrets mess with the pacing in a negative way. I was easily able to find both of the secrets on the first day. If it would be possible, making some changes to the
shapes puzzle would be nice
since I was unable to see the
hole in the wall outside for some reason
and ended up spending longer than I would like to admit in solving that puzzle. With that said, I do have an idea that I think could be cool.
Suggestion
The idea is actually about connecting the secrets to the ending.
Currently, the secrets don't have any effect on the ending, and you can get both the "Burning" and "Purification" ending. And I thought, "how cool would it be if it did effect the ending?"
So if you don't unlock the secrets before reaching the end,
your room in the attic won't say "Your Room" but would actually say something like "the previous owner's room" or your name or something along those lines.
In addition to that,
if you don't get both secrets, you can only do the "Burning" ending. And instead of your daughter, the wife pops up and says something like "How could you?!" so as to not give their relation away. And then when you get both ending, it gives your the choice for which ending you want, and also has the daughter show up in the "Burning" ending.
The dev doesn't have to add that, but I think it would be really cool way to improve the ending and secret section without really making any big changes.
Rating
Overall, it was a rather enjoyable experience and a fun two hours. I rate the game 7.8/10

Don't get me wrong. I liked this game. I had a fun time with it. I just can't see ever spending money on it. But I'll get to actual feedback. **SPOILERS** So the jumpscares weren't that great, despite one or two of them getting me decently. I've seen that feedback a few times, but atmosphere was handled very well for a solo dev project. I was constantly expecting something to happen, which is what a good atmosphere and good lighting can do to the brain. I was on my toes through the first two or three nights. After that, I realized that the game mostly ran out of tricks, and I was used to it. But I don't regret that initial experience. And keep in mind that I'm kind of a horror game nerd. This game was never going to scare me that hard, haha. With that said, sometimes a horror experience that is simply "alright" is really refreshing. I kinda liked the story, even if a few points were a tad confusing. But as a FNAF fan, that didn't really bother me lol. It's ultimately pretty simple, but it was great for context. The design of the monster was definitely generic, but have fun creating a completely new monster design in 2025. At the end of the day, it was a fun little experience that is only brought down by the price tag. This feels like the kind of game you release for free, get feedback, and THEN develop a paid game off that feedback. Heck, if this were like 2 bucks at all times, I'd say go for it, but on Steam, $5 goes a long way.
Discover the house's history, do some chores, open secret rooms, complete a puzzle, then a ritual. Nonexistent choice number 3-save the family and burn the house down. Both problems solved. Maybe. Above all, don't listen to noncorporeal voices. Good times. Not so much for Carl.
I don't want to be rude, I know it's a small game and the idea is good but the execution is lacking. It's basically a go there and click simulator. Instead of one thing to do at a time, a list of things to do would have greatly help this feeling. It really isn't a bad game it just lack something.
Whoever wanna play some horror, please play this you wont regret much with the price. I just cant fathom Horror so left it midgame when a jumpscare hurt my core. FFS uninstalling. I'd recommend this for a quick horror indie gameplay. Well done DEV
SAVEN wahrscheinlich kein schlechtes Spiel +Gute Atmosphäre +Gute Vertonung +Glaubhafte Stimmen -Keine deutsche Sprachausgabe
Ladet mein PS4 Controller-Profil herunter, damit lässt sich das Spiel relativ gut spielen.
Played with my kid and had loads of fun. We had a good afternoon with it and I def suggest it if you like creepy movies and games. Read the notes. they are short and create the vibe that goes with the place.
I really enjoyed this short little horror experience. Now the story isn't really anything new or fresh, but I think it was done well. The sounds were okay, nothing amazing, but done well enough. I liked the visuals and the monster has some big feet. I didn't find it to be very scary or even creepy, though it did have some good moments. I am not here to say if this game is good or not, I am just here to say I liked this game and enjoyed my time playing it.
