good game
Very well written story, but it feels kinda disjointed with how it progresses itself. You go back to a 'Worldbox' after each step or battle in the story, and can then save and upgrade as necessary. It's basically a visual novel with RPG battles thrown in, and I feel it may have just been better suited to JUST have been a Visual Novel, since the writing is really the strong suit. Still, it's free, and the dev is awesome. Get it.

Distopik bir gelecekte geçen sıra tabanlı bir RPG. Dünya nüfusunun büyük bir kısmı yok olurken ve iblisler gezegende dolaşırken, yönetim Konseyi canavarların avlanmasını yasaklamaya karar verir. Yönetimleri onları yüzüstü bıraktığında, masumları güvende tutmak küçük bir grup asi Avcıya düşer.
I'm really enjoying this game. Currently, though, I have one major complaint: I can't figure out how to save! Please, help. Edit: Got a tip on how to save. Thanks!
Before I played Sanguine Melancholia, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Seems alright. Kind of wish the "world box" had an explanation, it feels immersion breaking to be thrown into it, but I guess it's not supposed to be part of the game. Also this might be a yaoi game, guess I'd have to keep playing to find out.
I had high hopes and high standards for Sanguine Melancholia, having played some of MollyAvast's previous game, I Am Still Alive. This game took my expectations and blew them out of the water. Every party member eventually grew near and dear to my heart, I felt true anger and sympathy towards the villains. I had the pleasure of being able to stream this game on Twitch and absolutely had the time of my life, marveling at every small detail that brought so much life into the world of SanMelon. The extras that are unlocked at the end of the game, as well as the small lore/interaction cutscenes you can unlock throughout the first playthrough, add so much to the game, as well. There are so many scenes I'd love to see between these characters which feel so real and genuine, and being able to watch them play a game of cards or hear about what they were going through before our story started was a real treat. All the music tracks in this game are absolutely incredible as well, kudos to the incredibly talented artists who worked on the soundtrack. There were several times that I went quiet for a boss battle while streaming because I wanted my audience (and also myself!) to be able to just take it all in. Although there were initially some issues with the game (as far as spelling/grammar errors, and a few glitches), the developer, MollyAvast, has been very quick to fix them as I found them, releasing small update patches as we went. They didn't really effect my enjoyment of the story (and if anything added to the hilarity of certain scenes). Even the issue of glitched achievements was fixed as soon as she was able, with in-game achievements added to replace the Steam ones. It's really very nice to see a dev who is so committed to continuing to fix any problems that come up with their game, and is so willing to interact with their fans to ensure their enjoyment. To anyone who enjoys a story-driven narrative with relatable characters, beautiful music, fascinating world lore, and an experience that touches your heart and perhaps also breaks it in the best of ways, I highly recommend Sanguine Melancholia. You will not be disappointed. (Also, the android is, in fact, particularly entertaining.)
