Command vast armies across the surface of a star-encompassing Dyson Sphere in this next-gen RTS. Shatter the map itself with superweapons, freeze oceans to create new invasion routes, and control hundreds of units in your quest to dominate humanity's greatest megastructure.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
This is a free demo of the next-gen RTS - Sanctuary: Shattered Sun! This demo contains a few single player scenarios to give you a taste of the game. The full release will have multiplayer, an epic single player campaign, a full suite of land, air and naval units. And much more!
Sanctuary will feature a campaign, multiplayer, base building, a flow-based economy, kingpiece commander units, as well as land, sea and air combat.
Every projectile is simulated. Nukes level bases and energy shield generators hold the line against long-range artillery strikes. Sanctuary has a core focus on strategic decision-making over fast-paced micromanagement.

When conventional weapons aren't enough, deploy superweapons that literally break the map.
Watch as your enemies' bases plummet into the sun below when you destroy the structural supports of the Dyson Sphere itself, crumbling the ground from under them.

Seize control of Sanctuary's climate systems to reshape the battlefield. Watch as your enemies' fleets become trapped in ice while your armies advance across the frozen wastes.

Few players will muster the enormous resources needed to build a Titan, but even fewer will survive fighting one.

Destroy the enemy commander and you win, but be careful because if your own commander falls ... it's game over.

Scale matters: wage war across massive 40km x 40km battlefields with up to 10,000 units under your control.
Watch as physically simulated projectiles create unexpected moments of warfare - like missiles striking aircraft in mid-flight instead of their intended targets.

The year is 2758, and humanity's greatest achievement encircles the sun - Sanctuary, a Dyson Sphere housing over a trillion lives. But this marvel of engineering has become a battlefield, its gleaming cities reduced to rubble, its surfaces scarred by endless war. The dreams of paradise have given way to a brutal struggle for survival.
Choose your allegiance among three distinct factions: the pragmatic EDA, the futuristic Chosen, or the enigmatic Guard. Each brings unique strategies, technologies, and units to the fight for control of humanity's greatest creation.

Powered by cutting-edge DOTS technology, Sanctuary: Shattered Sun delivers smooth performance even in the largest battles.
Every explosion, every unit, and every tactical decision comes together in a seamless experience that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in strategy gaming. Watch thousands of units clash without your PC slowing to a crawl.

Right now the demo is still a far cry from supreme commander, its inspiration. Controls are...not great, bases have buildings hard to distinguish, commanders that are invisible in the base due to everything being of the same color. YET, you have massive units, and a very similar feeling to supcom so I have high expectations still. I'd say it has the same readability as Dust Front. Maybe it's a trend and I'm just not the target. Anyway, the first campaign mission is great, albeit unforgiving when a T3 comes and wreck your whole base because you agroed it during patrol. I had a blast either way !
Performance is bad and there's a lot of stuff missing but the game is fun

Great. It is still a demo, yes, but I already enjoy it a lot. Give it a try, and let it hype you for the full release !

An old idea made new... This is basically Supreme Commander with different assets. That being said, at the time of writing the demo was bugged: couldn't exit the first campaign mission (menu button was unresponsive), land factories were endlessly spamming units and their respective production orders needed to be cancelled manually, UI elements were overlapping with each other and dialogue, etc. Not all UI changes from SupCom are good. The idea to put all the information into Handbook is a bad one - units and buildings should have short basic descriptions in their respective info panels. Same goes for various orders on the bottom left panel - there should be brief clarifications for those of them. They should also all have keybinds mentioned in their respective info panels. Importantly, it should be possible to move the camera around with WASD keys by default, rather than solely by arrow keys and by holding down middle mouse button and moving the mouse. Would be nice to have Q and E as options to pan camera as well. Another issue is poor unit detalization and animations... I get that the game is still very early in production, but unmoving tank tracks, unanimated missile silos on the commander unit, etc - those are the things that, hopefully, would be visually improved by release. The current version of the game feels visually raw because of small things like this. As for the characters... not sure why a sergeant and a rookie would command entire armies under direct supervision of a general. Writers may want to revise that part. Character portraits could also use a lot of improvement - Supreme Commander and Supreme Commander Forged Alliance had it done a lot better and had more believable characters overall.
super spil lide som jeg forvente det til at være glæder mig til at det kommer ude noget man skal prøve
is SUBCOM: FA return!
Supreme Commander 3
The game has a lot of potential and many great ideas. I love that the team exchanges so much with the community. It's on the highway to become my favorite RTS game since Supreme commander. It also runs surprisingly smoothly for an alpha
