Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #47, worst CA #99 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 35.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 246.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gutes Spiel. Leider immer noch nicht absturzsicher. Deutsche Synchronisation wäre schön gewesen.
On the whole, this was a VERY enjoyable game, especially during the decade where every development studio seems to lack testosterone and only wants to create fluorescent screenpuke effects. I played the original Stalker, enjoyed it, but felt it was a little outdated at the time when other major releases were pushing the boundaries of PC gaming graphics. Stalker 2 is similar. There are some beautiful sights, the effects are more "realistic" than the stupid orange and purple puke every other game has. But, overall, the graphics feel about 10-15 years behind, which is fine. It's not like any studio is releasing anything as groundbreaking as Crysis was in 2007 these days, so 2014-2015 graphics are somewhat the pinnacle. If you can't tell, I loathe most modern development studios that keep cranking out WII-esque graphics. Gameplay... The gunfighting is excellent. Weapons actually feel like they have power. So many FPS games do this wrong, and the firearms feel powerless. Stalker 2 does it right. The concussion, recoil, and stagger on enemies is excellent. You actually feel like every shot counts. Overloading yourself with ammo adds too much weight, so this forces a nice balance on the player. The mutants were a blast but there just weren't enough of them in my opinion. Some of the really neat ones only show up a few times at most. Story... I don't play games for the story. I didn't really follow what was going on to a deep level, but basic context clues made it interesting enough to keep playing. By the end of the game, I could probably tell you three character names and a two sentence synopsis. Maybe that's just me. It was fine. Performance... Zero crashes, zero issues. It ran beautifully. Honestly, this game was a breath of fresh, non-fluorescent air. I have missed realistic-looking games with good mechanics. Solid A for this one, coming from an absolute curmudgeon who hates 99% of video games
This game is not for me. I loved previous STALKER games but the experience to get this thing working on 4k TV is infuriating. Already tried for 4-5 times to get into it and always give up. First thing you will see is 15m shader compilation... Then literally first dialog after the game starts is bugged and does not work with gamepad so you have to go to PC and press it with. The game does not know what to do with your resolution, if you played on monitor and switch to TV, good luck. Yeah and you will be waiting for shaders every launch... For some reason does not work on steam deck, every other button press is ignored. Everytime it takes like 20 minutes to problemshot the game so it atleast launches. Sorry STALKER 2, I give up. Enjoy my money, but I don't want to play this. I don't have the desire to debug the game even before it started. Can't say anything about the gameplay or the story, didn't really get into that!
