Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Restricted area, radiation storm, randomly scattered cans, unpredictable groups of travelers, weather, and distant howling mutant creatures - the environment is extremely immersive, The content is quite extensive. which are everywhere, the basic items are mostly food, drink, and bandages. If there's anything good, it usually has a jump rope, a special point, or a password door guarding it. The only way to teleport is between different camps. The rest can only be done on foot. Sometimes in the later stages, a single mission requires running a couple of kilometers. Even without carrying any weight, because the physical strength is quickly depleted, once it's gone, walking and returning becomes extremely slow. One can only wait in place... Additionally, from other survivors, I traded quite a lot of beverages. Because they can enhance endurance, speed of recovery, replenish the stamina bar, and are very helpful for running and long-distance travel. Although all my travels were spent drinking, until I got completely drunk.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #47, worst CA #99 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 35.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 246.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After 43 hours of painstaking gameplay, I wish I never purchased this game. Pros: Graphics - Truly a work of art. How GSC Game World is able to pull this while in an active warzone (Ukraine) is nothing short of a miracle. Survival mechanics - You have to be mindful of thirst, hunger, weight, and sleep but doesn't get deep into woods on that front. I like that. The Zone - I loved to explore and survive in the wasteland. Secrets in every compound. New mutants to hunt and kill. Very well realized and crafted. Weapon variety - All of the different firearms and ammo types were a fun balancing act. You had to be smart about what you brought with every expedition. Few Bugs - I was worried about this being Euro-Jank like STALKER 1, but I was impressed. Only had a few NPC stuck in place, but nothing a quick load wouldn't fix. When an enemy base was alerted, troops might run around in a weird pattern but they break out of it. Cons: Story - Perhaps military storylines are not for me, but I could not be bothered to care about a single person in this game. Every time this game pulled control away for a cutscene, I was left dumbfounded by what they considered so important to tell me. I did not enjoy it in the slightest. Distance - 43 hours of time in game and at least 12 hours of that was SPRINTING back and forth to locations. This game has zero respect for your time. It pads the gameplay experience. God forbid you ever get a quest objective on the other side of the map because that ain't getting done. Performance - This game chokes on its own performance. You are forced to use AMD FSR/Nvidia DLSS in order to get a decent framerate. You get these frame drops to 15-20 FPS that will not return to normal until you reboot. It makes the game unplayable. Of course this doesn't happen until after at least 2 hours of gameplay. I would have returned it immediately if I knew this was an issue. Balance - Enemy AI is super-human with their visibility and detection. Even with my headlight off, they can spot me through heavy brush 150 meters away AT NIGHT. Dying in 3-4 shots while fighting off status ailments, meanwhile your opponents take 6-8 shots to the face before they die is unforgivable. I feel like I'm playing a gritty survival realism FPS while the AI is playing Apex Legends. Rant about late-game content:
The 2nd Faust boss fight is literally unbeatable. You kill 3 ads? He spawns 6 more. You focus on him? The clones rain fire upon you with 100% accuracy AND grenade spam. Run him down? He'll pump you full of lead and psi-radiation before you can see what gun he's firing. Need to go back to camp to get more ammo and supplies? You're locked in and there is a save point in the middle of the fight. Welcome to Thunderdome. I spent nearly 2 hours on that boss fight and ultimately quit the game because of it.
Stalker 2 starts off feeling simple and even confusing, like a game that refuses to guide you. However as you push deeper, the Zone slowly reveals how it truly works. The mechanics click, the atmosphere tightens, and the world pulls you in piece by piece. What first seemed like a lost cause becomes completely absorbing. Before you realize it, you're not just playing Stalker 2 - you're hooked.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl"!

8.7 / 10
It was janky on launch and missing features, so I waited for updates. Now it's unplayable. NPC's randomly aggro in settlements, resolution bugs. I'm lost for words. It was better on launch.

WHAT A WASTE Is the best way to desctibe this game. I first finished it with fitgirl repack and only bought it recently to play it again after all the updates, and the game is still really messy. THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY IS STILL MORE DETAILED AND REFINED THAN THIS ONE WITH LESS THE BUDGET AND TEAM And one of the most sad realization i had about this game is that : Even if they still add all of the missing things from the previous game, nothing will change. Because in its core Stalker 2 is very mediocre game. - A very frustrating and unrewarding exploration (90% of the side content is just stashes with trash loot and sausages…) with a character that can barely run 100 m on a map that is way too big - Ultra-basic writing for a game that claims to be narrative, and whose strings are far too visible — you get stuck with some barely disguised fetch-quests in the main story only to be followed by a “well done, Stalker, here’s your reward”. Not even trying to get good dialogue, interesting characters, or trying to immerse you into the world, just some bare bone dialogue that completely ruins the experience. The worst part is that the 2 COMPLETELY REDCONS THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY IN A BRUTAL WAY - Very, very few side quests — to give you an idea, here’s a map that lists them all : https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2026/33/7/1786907527-xjcll5a157ie1.jpg And there are all ultra basic fetch quest with very simple dialogue while The Witcher 3 10 years prior established a new standard for what a side quest should be - Completely broken game balancing, with enemies that to this day still have aimbots, crazy-fast reflexes, and terrible action readability because the enemies blend into the scenery, whereas before they had distinctive colors so they stood out from the background and you could immediately identify their faction. 99 % of the time you can barely diferentiate an allie from an enemy in gunfights. The Mutants and humans takes are INSANE BULLETS SPONGE, wich makes the combats stupid and unrewarding since you'll spend all your ammo and healing item on them - Still no faction system at all — literally nothing, it’s completely absent, while the original trilogy since Clear Sky had it day one - RPG and survival aspects that are bare-bones — the game showers you with loot and ammo, you can’t die of hunger, and not sleeping does nothing - A-Life is limited to just spawning mutants or a shootout around you in an ultra-artificial way, and very often at a perfect 90-degree angle further away from you lol wich completely detroys the immersion - The game has an art direction problem. In the trilogy, the developers used real environmental photos for their textures, which they then modified — even when the resolution was too low, it gave the game a unique look: very raw, ultra-bleak, with a distinctive grain. While this game is certainly very beautiful, that has completely disappeared, replaced by a generic Unreal Engine look that makes the game lose a huge amount of its charm. - The unique atmosphere — both mysterious, where the line between the paranormal and the real is blurred, all tinged with that distinctly Russian depressive existentialism — has completely disappeared. The game has a huge tone problem. It’s now ultra down-to-earth, wanting to explain everything with scientific jargon to eliminate all mystery. The big strength of the trilogy was that you were never quite sure about the origin of the events, of everything, and especially of the Zone. Scientific experiment? Divine punishment? Extraterrestrial? The game left all those doors open, and it was a real treat to have those grey areas because imagination did the rest. Now the game just turns it into a bog-standard scientific story that’s ultra down-to-earth… ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell what a shame, the entire atmosphere of the game goes down the drain. Stalker 2 is a game with a early-2000s structure, but with a massive graphical overhaul, so the contrast is extremely jarring — the game looks great, but the formula hasn’t evolved since 2007, and it still drags with awful pacing both in its open world and its main quest. All the updates in the world won't change the fact this game has poor exploration, bad side quests, very poorly written main quest and character, and pretty awful pacing, The people that played until the SIRCAA section know what il talking about lol. Stalker 2 is a Stalker game where all the people responsible for what Stalker is in the first place and know how to make a good stalker game didn't work on the game at all, and it shows lol. What a waste. The Original Trilogy is miles better than this game. The 2.0 and all the missing content won't magically make it a better game since in its core the game is pretty weak.
Truly pathetic excuse for a stalker game. radial spawning around the player, laughable ai and stealth systems. Doesn't run that well. Shot 5 people 40m~ away with an unsuppressed assault rifle, no reaction. Move into that same compound and shoot 1 guy with a suppressed makarov and the remaining guy knows exactly where I am. No binoculars, no true A-life, in every thing I engage with I am reminded of what a downgrade it is mechanically. The Fallout 4 of stalker games.
