Reviews
For the era of it's original release, the game is perfect. My only real complaint is that RT hasn't bothered to publish updates or introduce new content for a while. Perhaps if they did the playerbase would be more active.
The only good rwby game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, and apparently somebody decided that the best way to make a RWBY game was to take four anime girls, give them ridiculous weapons, throw them into a monster apocalypse, and tell them to beat the absolute crap out of everything that moves. Honestly? Excellent management strategy. You pick Ruby, Weiss, Blake, or Yang, and immediately start turning Grimm into expensive floor decorations. Ruby has a giant sniper-scythe because apparently having one weapon wasn't enough. Weiss has a sword and magic because apparently she needs a whole résumé. Blake has a giant sword and a clone because being one person wasn't efficient enough. And Yang? Yang just punches things. That's it. That's the entire business model. I respect Yang. The combat is fast and flashy, exactly what you'd expect from RWBY. You're dodging around, launching Grimm into the air, chaining attacks together, using special abilities, and generally creating enough visual nonsense to make a Hyperion security camera explode. And the Grimm? There are a LOT of them. You kill one. Another appears. You kill ten. A giant one shows up. You kill that. OH LOOK, MORE. At some point I'm pretty sure Remnant's entire economy is based on producing Grimm just so these four girls can maintain employment. The co-op is probably where the game is most fun. Get three friends together, pick your favorite character, and start beating monsters into paste. Of course, someone will always choose Yang and immediately run into the middle of everything. Then they die. Then they blame you. Teamwork. The story is decent and fits into the RWBY universe nicely enough, but let's be honest, you aren't booting this up because you desperately need a ten-hour philosophical examination of Remnant's geopolitical situation. You're here to see Ruby Rose swing a giant scythe around like a lunatic. And the game delivers. It's not perfect, though. The environments can feel repetitive, the combat gets a little samey after a while, and you eventually realize that you're basically doing the same thing over and over again. Beat Grimm. Move forward. Beat more Grimm. Press button. BEAT EVEN MORE GRIMM. But honestly? Sometimes that's all I need. You don't need complicated mechanics. You don't need a 400-hour skill tree. You don't need seventeen currencies. Sometimes you just need an absurd weapon and several hundred monsters that desperately need to be introduced to it. 8/10, kiddo. Fun combat, great character designs, enjoyable co-op, and plenty of Grimm-squashing goodness. Not the deepest game ever made, but it's a good time when you just want to turn your brain off and start swinging. I'd give it a 9, but apparently I can't unlock a secret fifth character called Handsome Jack. Massive oversight. Imagine me with a sniper-scythe. Actually... Don't. The universe isn't ready
Only buy if you're fan of RWBY and have a friend to play with. It's not really a finished game. There's no tutorial and the game is just missions that you go through beating hoards of grim. That's all it's to it. - If you play solo even on normal there's just too much enemies and when I got to first "boss" I had to potshot him to death for 2 minutes since he nearly oneshoted me with every attack. And that's the easiest mode. - The characters even though have their own animations, feel the same. Each character you play you just do combos with left click and right click as finisher. - Each character have level which upgrades when you play, but the upgrades are just to already existing skills, they do not unlock any new combos, it's just additional effects. There's only 6 upgrades on active moves per character and 9? passives ones. - The soundtrack is remixed from the show, but it feels off and bad. - The story playing solo is slow runner, few lines per mission which doesn't explain much. - The enemies are quite boring, they have 1/2 attacks and prompt you to counter them very often. - Even though you can just open multiplayer lobby and play with open slot, but the connection can lag out and kick you from mission reseting all the progress. (I didn't find anybody for hour, so I don't think there's anybody playing at same time) - Game sometimes lags out for half a second and spin a camera. - If you die you respawn on the fight you died, so you can beat the game solo, but it's tediouse and often there's a "wave" fight which takes quite some time. Not really polished game and it doesn't even feel finished. There's no story entry, no browser of lobbies, just quick play and create lobby + solo. There're aditional modes to just fight grim without story, but playing solo feels awfull enough so there's no point in even trying them.

游戏质量堪忧,若非粉丝绝对难以玩下去,粉丝向游戏,至少看着喜欢的角色还是会稍微开心一下的
