Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Rusty's Retirement is an idle-farming simulator designed to sit at the bottom of your screen allowing you to work on other tasks while caring for your farm!
Grow crops:
Plant crops and watch Rusty get to work as he waters, nurtures, and harvests. Unlock new crops as you progress, from crispy carrots to ripe tomatoes.
Produce biofuel:
Use crops to produce clean and energy-efficient biofuel, a vital robot power source. Sell biofuel to other machine inhabitants and reinvest the money into expanding your farm.
Automate with robots:
Deploy a team of cute little robots to assist with planting, watering, and harvesting. Customize and upgrade your helper bots to increase efficiency.

Multitasking:
Rusty's Retirement is built to sit comfortably at the bottom of your screen allowing you to do other tasks while caring for your farm. Zoom in or out for a less distracting view, or alternatively turn on 'Focus Mode' which slows down crop production.
Vertical mode:
You can also create a new vertical farm that sits comfortably at the side of your screen.
Twitch Integration available:
Streamers and viewers can build a farm together. Viewers can control what task their robot should focus on through chat commands like !plant !water !harvest.

Yummy Yummy thing to have something to fidget with in class.
Great game to have on in the background. Just the right amount of engaging and idle.
This is a great "Dad game", tending a garden, maximizing returns on investment, and just chill'n.
I adore this game. I love when devs go out of their way to make unique games that you can't really get anywhere else, this feels like one of those projects. Sure, this is not the first desktop pet and definitely not the only game that sits on your desktop, but this is without a doubt the most polished one. Everything's great, the customization, the amount of attention it needs, the progression, everything flows together so well. Definitely pick this one up if you've been looking for something like it.
This is a sorry excuse for an idler game. Too much of my play through, I had to do something about every 4-12 minutes. The 12m being on a market that shows up to upgrade plants. And the 4m was mostly times when the bot whose job it is to auto plant for me, never planted anything. Took me 50 hours to realize they only auto plant if the entire field is empty. At that point, I had to redo my entire farm to only have small fields. Which brings me to building the farm. It's so frustrating that I can't rotate buildings and even more so that some of them can't be deleted, or removed in any way. Have too many objects built? Good luck trying to optimize it later in the game. Probably would have to delete objects because there isn't space to move anything. So plan ahead for your entire run, or spend hours trying to fix it in any way. That's if the game allows you too anyways. Because having a chair at all will cause those that can move and build things, sit on the job. One of the houses that you can't delete comes with this said chair. If you somehow overcame all of the micromanages that's required, you might have fun for about 10-15 hours before you "beat the game." It doesn't take long to unlock a new map to play on. So your opinions are to play on the new map to unlock more maps, or continue on your current one for another 10 hours, if that. You will eventually have to pick the other option anyways. Regardless on what you choose, this "idler" is has barely any content to see. That also probably why there is no meta progression. Playing on new maps will not go any faster, or easier than your previous. The only reason for my hours spent are the achievements. As getting 1 million plants watered and 250,000 crops harvested took way too long. For my play through, I almost had 2 million before getting the harvests done. Lessened learned I guess. Never trust a game is good, just because it has a collaboration with another game you like a lot.
拆除不给一点警告是吧
Probaly genuinely my most favorite game i have on steam so far. It's just so chill, cozy and peacefull. I love seeing Rusty and friends walk around tending to the crops and berries, unlocking new crop and berry variants is so fun, the variety of farms to play on is great and the recent crossovers are really fun! Highest of reccomendations from me if you're looking for a somewhat idle game that sits on the bottom of sides of your screen. Maxed out all farms and i will do it again
