Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I went into this game expecting to play a video game. I came out of it questioning the fundamental nature of existence. There are games that entertain you, games that tell you a story, and then there are games that somehow transcend the medium entirely. This is the latter. Calling it “a game” almost feels reductive. It is an experience, a philosophical inquiry, an emotional journey, and quite possibly the closest humanity has ever come to understanding the human condition through interactive media. Every component works in perfect harmony. The gameplay isn't merely fun—it communicates ideas. Every mechanic feels deliberately constructed to make you reconsider your assumptions about agency, consequence, identity, and the strange relationship between player and character. I found myself staring at the screen long after playing, wondering whether I had been controlling the game or whether, in some incomprehensible way, it had been controlling me. The writing deserves particular praise. I have read books that failed to make me think as deeply as a single conversation in this game. Its themes of existence, mortality, freedom, purpose, and the nature of choice are handled with a level of subtlety that borders on absurd. Nothing feels like philosophy being shoved down your throat. Instead, the game quietly places an idea in your mind and lets you discover its implications yourself. And the characters. My god, the characters. They don't feel like fictional constructs designed to move a plot forward. They feel like people. Their motivations, contradictions, flaws, and relationships all contribute to the game's larger philosophical examination of what it means to be human. I genuinely found myself caring about them in ways I wasn't prepared for. The music is equally phenomenal. It doesn't simply accompany the experience; it becomes part of it. Certain melodies now exist in my head permanently, permanently associated with moments that I suspect I will remember for the rest of my life. The sound design, visuals, atmosphere, pacing, and presentation all demonstrate an almost unreasonable degree of artistic cohesion. Even the smallest details seem meaningful. Menus feel meaningful. Animations feel meaningful. The way the game asks you to interact with it feels meaningful. At some point I stopped asking whether these things were intentional and simply accepted that the developers had achieved something far beyond what I thought games were capable of. Most importantly, this game changed my perspective. I started thinking differently about choice. About failure. About other people. About myself. I genuinely don't think I am the same person I was when I launched it for the first time. I wish I could experience it for the first time again. But perhaps that's the point. Maybe the inability to return to who you were before experiencing something is itself the game's final lesson. 10/10. Life-changing. Philosophically devastating. I am going to think about this game until I die.
