Das ist wohl der einzige Autobattler, dessen Spiel System so anders ist alle alle anderen faden langweiligen Autobattler, so sogar meine Frau darauf süchtig geworden ist! Und das will echt was heißen!

While I usually like roguelikes with the random factor, I tried to give this game a chance, but I didn't seem to click with the gameplay, I unlocked a bunch of stuff , but didn't feel inclined to do another run after a while, tried multiple classes, didn't feel too different one from the other. It takes too long to upgrade your character/classes, and some of the requirements , I find them a little grindy. With that said, this is not a bad game in any sense, art is nice, music is engaging but the gameplay was not my cup of tea. Wouldn't recommend it right now, will probably come back to it later.
Bloody good little game to pass the time and play while your at work
I LOVE IT!
Simple game, nice n chill.
Roll, Merge & Rule the Battlefield – Rune Dice’s Brilliant Physics-Driven Deckbuilder [i]A tactical roguelike deck-builder where every throw matters, blending physics-based dice mechanics with satisfying build crafting and explosive chain reactions.</i> Core Gameplay & Structure Rune Dice replaces traditional card draws with an inventive dice-throwing system that feels both strategic and wonderfully tactile. Each encounter revolves around launching magical dice across a battlefield, carefully aiming for merges and chain reactions while enemies steadily advance. Between battles, you navigate a procedurally generated map filled with combat encounters, merchants, treasure rooms, altars, and special events, constantly shaping the direction of your run. The result is a roguelike loop that's easy to understand but surprisingly difficult to master. Physics-Based Dice Mechanics The defining mechanic is the way dice behave after they're thrown. Rather than simply selecting an attack, you must consider angles, momentum, ricochets, and positioning. Matching dice fuse into stronger versions that actively seek additional matches, creating cascading combinations capable of wiping out entire groups of enemies. Success comes from planning several moves ahead while adapting to the ever-changing state of the board. Build Crafting & Synergies Every run expands your arsenal through magical dice, relics, and runes that interact in meaningful ways. Some dice specialise in elemental effects like poison or frost, while relics amplify specific strategies and runes introduce powerful battlefield manipulation. The game constantly rewards experimentation, with seemingly modest upgrades often combining into devastating engines capable of producing spectacular chain reactions. Hero Classes & Replayability Eight unique hero classes dramatically change how each run unfolds. Every class begins with distinct abilities and preferred strategies, encouraging players to rethink their approach rather than relying on a single winning formula. Combined with procedural maps, varied encounter types, and a huge selection of unlockable dice and relics, replayability remains consistently high across repeated runs. Boss Encounters & Progression Bosses aren't simply tougher enemies—they introduce unique mechanics that can alter battlefield rules, summon reinforcements, or force you to rethink your entire strategy. Progression comes from refining your build throughout each run while unlocking additional content and achievements that steadily expand your long-term options. Recent updates, including the addition of Classic Mode, provide even more ways to test your builds across extended campaigns. Presentation & Mechanical Identity The colourful pixel art keeps the battlefield readable despite the chaos, while satisfying animations make every successful merge feel impactful. Rune Dice stands out because it doesn't simply imitate other deckbuilders—it introduces genuine physical interaction into a genre typically driven by static decision-making. Every throw carries both calculated strategy and a touch of unpredictability, creating a constant tension between careful planning and adapting on the fly. Verdict – 10/10 Rune Dice delivers one of the freshest takes on the roguelike deck-builder in years, combining clever physics, rewarding build synergies, and endlessly satisfying chain reactions into a game that's as strategic as it is addictive.
