Хорошо продуманная игра. Хороший баланс, много героев, разные техники прохождения.
I like this game well enough. The dice don't always seem to react the way I intend, but that could be down to my bad aim. There are enough progression task and unlocks available to keep you interested over multiple rounds.
A very fun, addictive game. The mechanic of physics-based dice simulation and merging is a fun little spectacle and there is enough meat to the game that it's not fully mindless. That said, the RNG is mostly in the driver's seat and once you get the hang of the game it practically plays itself in the battles, with most of the interesting decisions happening outside of combat in choosing routes, relics, runes, builds, and dice. The classes offer some variety and a reason to try different approaches. It's a very satisfying, simple game that you can probably play to unwind without too much stress or over-thinking. The pixel art is quite nice, and the UI is functional. The music on the other hand is a little annoying.
Love this game. Fun characters and builds. Wish there was a crazy mode with multipliers and stuff, but still cool.
super fun and super addictive...BUUUUT....it could be phenomenal if the RNG was better at choosing relics. say, every time i choose a fire build, i get lightning relic choices; and then i swap to a lightning build, and i get fire relic choices....fix that a little better to scaling the character chosen, and this super good game would become phenomenal.
good
I'm a big fan of dice based roguelites and have played almost all of the ones available on Steam. Unfortunately Rune Dice is one of the least enjoyable I've played, it has numerous issues that make the game more frustrating than fun to play. Here are my major issues with this game: - The basic gameplay mechanic is throwing the dice on a board and having them jump around and hopefully merge with other dice. This would be an interesting mechanic if the physics for the dice movement were are least somewhat realistic. Ufortunately the physics are very unrealistic, in fact I believe they are completely faked. It appears they just programmed something that looked somewhat believable but doesn't use real physics. This issue alone ruins the game for me - the unique gameplay mechanic is poorly implemented. - The rewards from winning fights and random events vary in usefulness massively. I realize that a certain amount of this is expected in a roguelite, but the imbalance in Rune Dice is absurd. - Very little content. It may look like there are three areas in a run but in fact a run consists of ONE area. The total game consists of three, very simiar area plus a slightly longer (merged?) area that the developers added because people complained about the short runs. - The above issues result in a game with poor difficulty balancing. One run I might lose badly, then the next run with the identical setup I breeze through almost without a scratch, despite employing the same strategies. Again, I realize some of this is expected in a roguelite, but this game goes far beyond reasonable limits. - I disliked the final battle. It uses completely different rules from ANY of the previous battles. The strategies that work throughout the entire game break on this final battle. I like variety but not nonsense like this. I can't recommend this game given that there are a lot of better games in this genre on Steam.
