As a whole, the game is phenomenal. An amazingly silly premise helps draw in interest, simple controls make picking up the game very easy, and art that makes it very clear that the game is a labor of love. All of this makes this an easy pick for fans of platform fighters and perfect entry points for those who're interested in the genre. The only gripe I have is that the Arcade Mode is terribly laggy, slowing the game to a CRAWL . As of now, the game is almost a week past release day, so hopefully the game can get an update to help make the game run smoother. (Online play has had a few lag spikes here and there, but that was likely due to the ping of the friends I was playing with.)

Love the characters and animation in this game. Core gameplay is solid enough, don't mind how simple it is although I do think it can come off as overly limiting sometimes. A bit lacking in content, single player is barebones and feels a little unfinished. Haven't played online much, low player count basically means you need to coordinate matches since you'll almost never run into randoms. Still, the game's idea is cool and I have faith that it could get improved as patches and potential new content are released. Until then, probably worth getting on sale as opposed to full price.
This game just oozes the amount of love and care put into it. I hope it comes out on consoles so I can play it more easily with my friends and family!
Launch is a bit rough but they somehow got Bigfoot in it despite not meeting the stretch goal
This is a golden apple in an orchard of mediocre. The gameplay is fantastic and the characters are all charming. Especially Lilith and Bigfoot. Despite a few online issues, it can be easily overlook in my opinion. This is an easy 9/10 for me. My dream game. Congrats Colin and Team! -JayPSparks
Absoltue CINEMA
This game is really cool. The designs are really creative takes on well-known characters and their movesets are really well-thought out too. The art style is charming and the game has a unique cartoon style to it. The only negative things I have to say about this game relate to not being able to play the arcade mode well enough to get Bigfoot because it keeps lagging or crashing. Other than that, me and my brothers are having a phenomenal time with this game; definitely recommended.
