About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

Buen juego, me esta gustando mucho :D
This game is clearly made for someone, but I am not that person. Clunky, slow, tedious, confusing. I abandoned it before even making it past the tutorial section of the game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Jogo maldito, desgraçado, miseravel, maligno, horrivel... recomendo
I am a HUGE fan of games with as strong a focus on diegetic information and action as possible, and ROUTINE really stands out in that department. The game controls well, the buttons on your multitool are immaculately "clickey", and the sound design is wonderful. The puzzles are a bit simple sometimes, but it's a choice I can make peace with because reliably orienting yourself in the environment also provides a solid challenge. I imagine the devs were trying not to make the puzzles too hard because actually moving around the areas while also remembering passcodes and important information about what you're actually doing takes a lot of brainpower. Getting to your destination just to realize you forgot what you need to do would probably suck, and as such I'm happy with how difficult the puzzles are. As everybody else has mentioned in their reviews, the atmosphere is extremely well crafted, and all of the pieces come together to make an intense, challenging, and satisfying experience. My only negative is that I ran into a few bugs with the enemies in the game that were immersion breaking, such as enemies getting stuck and popping in and out of existence
in unintended ways
. Overall, really lovely game, great experience, a bit short for the price point but I'll still happily recommend it to anyone that's into sci-fi horror.
The visual and audio aesthetics of this game are polished and very pleasing. It’s a delightful retrofuture design. Cathode Ray Tube computer terminal screens with monocolour displays that typically only render text and have load times that are long enough to feel authentic. The sound or appearance of spinning drive platters. Chunky mainframe computers and more. You’re given a special tool to interact with many things in the environment called the “Cosmonaut Assistance Tool” or just “CAT”. It resembles a chunky looking ray gun with a full colour viewfinder display for precise aim with a really slow smeary refresh rate and poor screen resolution. The limited output of the viewfinder makes precise aim in a hurry a very tense experience. The CAT has many modes of interaction which you select by physically bringing up the device to look at it and then clicking on the module which will give you the mode of interaction you want. This can lead to some tense moments where you know you need to change to a specific mode fast because your life depends on it but the method of changing the mode requires some doing. I did have some issues with the layout of the environments. I found that I got lost many times where I knew the name of the place I needed to go to but was having trouble finding it. I think that the somewhat labyrinthine layout of the environment was a deliberate design to make it so that you’ll panic when being pursued by things that will do you harm. But I found it frustrating sometimes. Note that the escape menu does NOT pause the game. I was flipping through menus at one point when all of the sudden I heard the footfalls of a pursuer and it scared the daylights out of me. I kind of like this choice. You can’t just hit escape and make the horror stop, you’re always vulnerable. I did not understand the story but that’s OK, it was compelling enough to keep me intrigued throughout playing. Perhaps when I play it again in the future I’ll understand the meaning of it.
If u love ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like an ark player then get this game!! Besides the absolute terror I had with this game the atmosphere was incredible. And the puzzles genuinely make u question urself if youre a dumbass or not because i was walking for hours looking to solve the puzzle when in reality i had to (SPOILER)
look down
. 10/10 can only recommend
