About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

This was a surreal experience, the visuals and atmosphere were outstanding and the story was interesting. Can't say I felt good about the puzzles though, it made me feel like a game journalist. I needed more yellow paint the way I was overthinking and losing my mind with some of the puzzles. The game doesn't hold your hand for a moment, and though you can get a vague idea of what you're meant to be doing by checking the terminals dotted around it can still be very confusing. Enemies were unique, definitely had some good scares and made me very uneasy later in the game. They aren't very smart though, don't read into that much until you give the game a try. I give this a 8/10, leaves me questioning existence a lil~
Phenomenal, polished and whole experience. This game took me a little more than 7 hours to finish and it's better than most games I have 300+ hours in. The amount of love and work the devs put into this shows on every front here - everything fits everything, no redundancy or (too much) confusion the moment you get he gist of how manual any single action here is. Both made me feel and scared the living ♥♥♥♥ out of me. 10/10, will talk about this nonstop to everyone I know. Many can learn from this game, this should be mandatory to study if you're gamedev.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Such a great game , tracked it from day 1 and heart broke when it looked like all was lost. That the stars they came back and saw it through. Everything a terror / puzzle game should be, including value for money (I would have paid more) Thank you Lunar
♥♥♥♥ my Pants a few times 10/10
Overall, a fantastic albeit short experience positively oozing with an intense atmosphere. Is it worth its base price? No, I don't think it has enough to offer for the price listed. I only got about 10 or so hours out of the game before I was finished the story. If you can get the game on sale say about 10 bucks or less, I think it is worth a pickup. If you enjoy a short, sweet and quite scary horror experience with a very delightfully 80's art style I whole heartedly recommend you get the game, just get it when it ever goes on sale.

I've been watching this game since it's announcement in 2012 and it's been a long wait. To this day, it's the most terrifying horror game I've ever played, to the point I actually had to put it down for a bit.
I Just wow .... what a wonderful game .love the retro graphics the story , and the spooky atmosphere . love it all i would highly recommend this game i had so much fun .
Made me feel really dumb a few times
