About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

The atmosphere was amazing. This is gaming as art. Scarry as can be while its at it.
Done and done. Cool game, crap ending. Took me 7 hours, roughly. If the ending had been better, i'd say "yes, i'd recommend it. But as is. Nope." I would not put upon my freinds such an ending. And to me, a game like this, very linier, needs a better ending imo. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. And if ever i feel like i wish to replay this. The bad after taste comes back. So yeah, the ending broke it for me. At least it was an vague ending. Not an ending where the PC dies. I hate that. All the work, and the PC died. Worst types of endings. Always makes me hate the games. Same for movies. But i never hit a bug, never had any problems with the game. So on that merit alone. It's say Dragon fruit out of Cantalope Melon score. Would contemplate enjoying again, but the ending is not good enough. Cheers.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is like if Alien: Isolation had a baby with the Backrooms. Absolute peak! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the no HUD feel is really nice for keeping you fully immersed. It feels so isolated, like you genuinely know you are the only one running for your life against those robots. The robots themselves might not look inherently creepy on their own, but they still make the game extremely tense because of their AI. I almost never see enemies that will pursue you for that long, even after you think you have successfully escaped a chase. The jumpscares are also really unexpected and creative. It is not your typical in your face kind of cheap scares, but more subtle things like doors closing suddenly or random objects flying. On top of that, the graphics look great and the game is optimized really well with absolutely no stutter. The only problem for me is that the trade off of having no HUD is a severe lack of guidance. You honestly won't know what you are doing most of the time, and even when there is some guidance, it still feels a bit too minimal for the average player. Otherwise, if you love pure, tense retro sci fi dread, this is definitely worth playing. Easily an 8.5/10!
5/5 - Stunning visuals, breathtaking sound design with a thrilling story. One of the best sci-fi survival horrors that I have ever played. Despite the UE5, the game is well optimized and runs greatly even at 4K @ Ultra settings. Please, bring us more of these Lunar Software!
Incredibly immersive game, great audio/visual design and pretty scary. It's got one of those "up to interpretation" stories that leaves you scratching your head by the end but it's certainly morbidly intriguing. The absolute best part of the game is the almost non-existent handholding which is such a breath of fresh air for a modern game. Kind of short and nothing to encourage replayability, but well worth getting on sale. 9/10
This game has made it a "Routine" if you will, to be scared of corners.
I liked the game. Yes, some of the puzzles are very hard, but the thing I found most frustrating was that you kept getting interrupted and reset while trying to work out difficult puzzles which was a bit frustrating. Other than that it was fun.
spooky
Graphics and especially sound are top tier, but the gameplay and horror are mid at best. The game frustrated me repeatedly because tasks are badly explained and the levels are mazes, there's no mini map or the like to help you navigate. The time I spent with this game feels kind of wasted, can't recommend.
