Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

nooo little german boy dont go into the doujin game oh mein gott! this gamen is full of meganmennen i dont know what the ♥♥♥♥ people are on about this game only being the bad parts of megaman like do yall even ♥♥♥♥ with megaman like i do i dont think sooo ummmm get a clue good game love the soundtrack and art amazing
the platforming is super precise and gimmicky, bosses are impossible to beat without their weaknesses and poorly designed (e.g count zepplin's first phase consists of a fire attack that spawns a few pillars and a follow-up attack where he dashes to spiritia's current position. spiritia can't change direction mid-air so damage is guranteed), and is just not fun all around; it copies mega man but not the things that make that game fun (it's mostly copying MM2, and that one's the worst in the series and the most overrated) the game rewards memorization and not skill. you're expected to replay entire levels over and over again, scraping for the rare spirit tanks because you'll take so much damage in boss fights and the fortress stages you'll have no choice but to heal the highest offender is the story. the setting is interesting but the classic megaman game format doesn't allow for deep storytelling, so the stage bosses (despite the fact that they're supposed to be your friends turned rogue) boil down to generic archetypes with flavor text that you have to beat and that's not even mentioning that "plot twist". not only does count zepplin and iris exposition-dumping everything feel forced as all hell, iris being the "twist" villain ruins everything this game's imperfect narrative had going for it; orginally i thought that both sides made good points (spiritia doesn't want people to be eradicated just because they're inferior to magis, the RKS wanting non-magis to be extinct because they're tired of the non-magis living in fear of them), but iris being the one pulling the strings takes away every bit of credibility RKS had by making them the gullible pawns of an ellitist child with a god complex unfortunately i can't refund this game so all i can do is force myself to beat it for closure, and pick up the narrative scraps of this game thinking about what could've been i hear this game was originally going to be an eroge, and honestly? would've benefitted from that a whole lot more than a crappy megaman clone

Inb4 "skill issue" 🤪 I'd originally discovered and added this game to my wish list in 2017, and recently decided to finally pick it up after re-encountering, finally giving it a long-awaited shot in 2026. Unfortunately, the game experience was not worth it. The problem with Rosenkreuzstilette is that it's crushingly difficult and the game doesn't even ease you into it. Bosses require almost inhuman reaction timing and you're expected to beat them with a limited amount of lives, lest you start the stage from the very beginning. Worst of all, on top of everything else, there's the absence of a difficulty scale -- there's no easy, normal or expert difficulties. The game doesn't even teach you how to play in the first place, neither how to jump or how to attack. From what I understood, this was a passion project by two fans of the MegaMan series; however, what I took away from this was that they took away from it the wrong notes. I couldn't even progress passed the first boss. Video 1 Video 2 Even for $2 on sales I don't recommend this. There are games for the same price or less so that better respect the player and their time. EDIT I had cancelled my refund request to give this one more chance, thinking perhaps it was just the prologue that had an issue with difficulty. Now I can safely write that the regular stages are far, far worse in difficulty. Enemy placement, projectile spam and (if you go far enough off screen) enemies that respawn, trying to get to bosses is absolutely miserable. It did not help that falling platforms and moving platforms are introduced, and if you get hit by an enemy or projectile not only are you locked into a stun (because what player loves stun mechanics when it happens to them?), but you also slowly shift in the opposite direction of where you're facing. Imagine you're on a platform that moves left and right and there's a mob that's firing off shots at you and you're desperately trying to dodge. Video 3 Someone on the forum had even stated they had to use Cheat Engine to get the game to run at their own pace by disabling the lives system. It has you question who this game is even for, because, and I can only imagine this, even for hardcore MegaMan fans, this is really going to test them as there's a lot of projectile spam and a lack of pattern with bosses. Video 2 demonstrates this: The boss fires off projectiles towards you, and either continues to do that or decides to chase down the player, but doesn't initiate the chase from the far-right of the screen to the far-left and vise-versa. Instead it initiates where they were currently standing to where the player is standing unless you jumped over. The boss can also teleporter right behind you if you're almost too close to it. There's no real pattern, so if you rely on memorization and attack patterns, the RNG is going to screw you over and it punishes you for expectation / previous experience in other games. I stand by my initial review, only tenfold now. Rosenkreuzstilette does not have respect for the player.
It's Mega Man with a coat of a paint and a lot of retro references. If you're a casual player of the franchise in question, then be prepared to have your ass handed to you. This game does not hold hands more than it throws them. If you're a person that loves said franchise and wants a challenge then this is right up your alley. Don't let the animé cutesy look fool you. Granted, these are fairly dated titles at this point, 20 or more years and were known before coming to Steam, but I wouldn't get too hung up on that. It's also why I have less time here than I should be making a review about it, given I had the doujin release prior to it coming here. I came back years after the fact to show my appreciation for the franchise by buying both games of the series. Speaking of, its sequel is very much the same but with a different protagonist and different mechanics involved for said person. Both games also have New Game+ modes with different characters to play as so you'll have a lot more to look forward to in that respect if you want the full course. I would recommend both of these to be bought together in a bundle if you so decide on making the step into this, that said.

.....No thank you.
Cool game because it looks like mega man, many references and is very fun, works well and the attacks of the bosses are worth gold, in addition to the price of it in the promotion that is extremely cheap.
Do you like NES Mega Man games? Do you wish they had more lesbians? If so, you will probably enjoy this game.
