Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great video game port of a great board game. Simple as that The multiplayer is definitely rife with annoying issues (not being able to change settings IN the waiting room and there's a lot of desyncs AND no steam invite integration is... annoying) but apart from that it gives an applicable way to play Root single player as well as letting people learn factions as they go. But Multiplayer DLC sharing is a nice touch (if you use draft mode ofc) Good game.
I was introduced to this game at a boardgame convention by some of my friends and I played as the vagabond there and "won" (We got some rules wrong but eh). Overall the base version of this game is 4 different games packed on a single victory track, each faction plays differently and offers different paths to achieve victory, not to mention the dominance cards which throw all of that out and offer you new victory patterns. The replayability of this game is excellent and it is well worth its price.
Pretty sick
Amazing board game and this version made it so much easier to understand the game and play the rules properly so that we can enjoy the physical version even more
This is certainly not a very intuitive game and the presentation is deceptive about this. Every faction is basically a new game you need to learn that happens to exist in the same universe as the other factions. First impressions were frustration. Second impressions were as well. Strapping myself down and spending 10 hours bruteforcing my way through the tutorials and challenges while constantly refering to the included text rules have made me appreciate the game. The game is deep and rewarding, but you need to pay with not only hard-earned money but also time and effort in order to actually play the game. Enter at your own peril.
