This game is super cool for the price. Playing it is really fun, and simple platforming makes speedrunning easy. Plus, modding is really easy, including custom researches, blocks (I think), and recipes. Definitely would recommend this game to anyone. Updated review :) No block modding yet, but a ton of potential with the expanding current variety of blocks. Still reccomend.
I have to say that the game itself is worth a buy. Big probs for having sort in inventory. Thus far i haven't noticed any problems or bugs. The way you craft items is quite unique. At least i haven't seen this method used anywhere else. Its like if you would put all the resources on top of crafting table from Minecraft and when you use redstone to power the crafting table you get the item. 6 planks and you get door. So far my largest craft has been 6(?) items. Cant wait to see how complicated it might get later on. Does the game have chests? Would love to have one earlier in the game if they are in.

I want this game to be good, but so far it's pretty annoying. I do like that it focuses on building contraptions rather than the "pipe resource A into machine B" gameplay that a lot of other automation games use. However, instead of having the usual set of logic gates like AND/OR/NOT and latches, instead there are components with weird logic like the Galvanometer or Capacitor, which aren't as useful. Additionally there doesn't seem to be a way to wirelessly transmit signals, which is vital for a 2D game to be able to cross other wires and production lines. Because of the restricted logic, you're forced into using timing-based contraptions rather than closed-loop ones, which break if something goes wrong like the output being full (which is inevitable given that space is limited.
a really neat 2D contraption maker
This game for what it is, is amazing! It tickles that sandbox and build part of the brain. Love The building. - The build up of basic machines and buildings is amazing. Being able to store the machines and moving them is excellent. The progression of discovery - Finding out what materials make what and discovering how to add those to your machines is a blast! The freeform layout and random seeds - Come on big money seed. GIVE ME THE GOODIES! This really helps from becoming stale. Dislike Clunky keybinds - F1 to open the details and G to close it Digging/Mining - Having to switch to welder hood and the select each face of a block to isolate and then switching to build to collect is way to many rotations. A simple tool like a drill/shovel/pickaxe that can be toggled or in hand would be a huge quality of life. Sound - Some of the sounds are crazy loud. Default levels for UI should be turned down by half. Overall - Its a fun game for builders. Haven't had a chance for exploring so wont talk on it. Somethings I would love to see added would be some background/ambience sounds or some soothing music to add to the atmosphere.
A super clever game limited only by my small imagination. Having a lot of fun discovering and experimenting.
Very new and innovative approach to automation games. fun i like
Game is great! Instantly hooked. Gives me the same feeling as modded Minecraft mixed with Factorio. Highly reccomend. Just wanting more things to do!
Couple bugs but loving the game. It scratches the engineer itch.
Truly a fun automation game, a real hidden gem. Played a lot of the free demo from an Itchy place, so my hours presented are not accurate. If you enjoy automation type games paired with Terraria-lite gameplay, this game is for you.
