Take control of the protagonist Romeo Stargazer in this third person singleplayer action adventure, split into various chapters. His story is both unpredictable and littered with intense battles, interspersed with side missions to suit the player's pace.
A story that transcends space-time
This game's story starts with space-time itself being shattered by a certain incident. Romeo, too, on the brink of life and death finds himself revived by a new kind of super technology. Thus he is recruited for the FBI's Space-Time Police as a special agent, and wanders the cosmos in search of criminals who've taken advantage of the situation at hand in an attempt to bring justice back to the universe. At the same time, he looks for clues concerning his missing girlfriend Juliet, and quickly comes to find both her disappearance and the destruction of space may be more linked than he thought. Donning the mask called Deadgear, what awaits Romeo at the edges of space-time?
Fight blood with blood
Romeo switches between swords and guns to fight. Wipe out the waves of enemies that stand in your path to give birth to a new kind of bloody action, and take down the fearsome space-time criminals that await. Absorb the blood of your enemies to unleash Romeo's special attack: Bloody Summer, capable of turning any situation around. Romeo's various weapons can be strengthened and altered as the story moves forward as he takes on even stronger enemies.

I really want to love this game I really really do I have enjoyed so many of Suda 51 games in the past. This one just misses the mark for me. Game idea is great but at the end of the day this game is very unbalanced. I literary have been trying to defeat the 3rd boss for prob 6 hours, and this not my first hard game i've completed games like Elden ring, bloodbourne, Dark souls 3 just to name a few but while trying to beat this boss for all there hours the fighting just started to feel stale. The game keeps saying "return to the ship and get better items" well be their done that, doesnt help that a boss can one shot you while he is on his last leg. Maybe others will like this one for me the cost is not worth the over amount of effort you need to progress. If there was a easy mode I would of just set it finished the game and enjoyed the experience and story.
Was iffy about this one at the start but that first boss fight (every day is Monday) had me sold. Plus the 16bit style inside your ship is awesome and I like the lil farm Sim elements. Tis a good time

Not even an hr in...this game is such a throwback. They really don't make a lot retro games like these anymore.
An achievement in putting whatever you think rules into a video game. Romeo is a Dead Man is so cool, so fun, and so funny. I'm gonna be thinking about the foot job scene maybe forever.

it's 2026 how is there no ultrawide support...Sorry much as I love Suda-51 sick of games not living in the present.
The game is freaking good, I love the music, I love the vibe the aura farm EVERYTHING. But it leaks memory on 9070XT leading to extreme slowdown every 10-20 minutes. I will just buy it on PlayStation. really sucks to be that way.
If you like: DMC, Lolipop chainsaw, Fatal frame, Stardew Valley, Dark Souls, Any 3d platformer ever made, Cooking mama, Farmville, Animes like gundam or sci-fi drama, a bit of pop team epic, movies like evil dead and lastly, if you like the idea of gaming 2? Then this might be the game for you. Because this game is all of the above and it just works! Holy spiritual successor to Lolipop Chainsaw! strongest 8/10 I've ever played!
