About
About ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN
Take control of the protagonist Romeo Stargazer in this third person singleplayer action adventure, split into various chapters. His story is both unpredictable and littered with intense battles, interspersed with side missions to suit the player's pace.
A story that transcends space-time
This game's story starts with space-time itself being shattered by a certain incident. Romeo, too, on the brink of life and death finds himself revived by a new kind of super technology. Thus he is recruited for the FBI's Space-Time Police as a special agent, and wanders the cosmos in search of criminals who've taken advantage of the situation at hand in an attempt to bring justice back to the universe. At the same time, he looks for clues concerning his missing girlfriend Juliet, and quickly comes to find both her disappearance and the destruction of space may be more linked than he thought. Donning the mask called Deadgear, what awaits Romeo at the edges of space-time?
Fight blood with blood
Romeo switches between swords and guns to fight. Wipe out the waves of enemies that stand in your path to give birth to a new kind of bloody action, and take down the fearsome space-time criminals that await. Absorb the blood of your enemies to unleash Romeo's special attack: Bloody Summer, capable of turning any situation around. Romeo's various weapons can be strengthened and altered as the story moves forward as he takes on even stronger enemies.

God a mas no poder, pero no es para todos. es muy confuso al inicio y los menu los hicieron como si a la gente le gustara leer tanta pinche informacion que al final termina siendo redundante.
This is a very Suda51 game, for better and worse. If you like the early very "Suda forward" Grasshopper games like No More Heroes 1 and Killer7, you'll probably enjoy this game well enough. If not, you'll probably be kinda confused why anybody likes it at all. Really I'd say enjoyment of this game kind of comes down to whether you're fine enjoying a game which uses video games as a general audiovisual medium to experiment with and do different and interesting things with formatting. My review of the gameplay is that it ranges from "serviceable" (the combat) to dull (the Subspace sections). My review of the plot is that it's presented in an interesting way, but actually kinda generic when you break it down to its component parts. But as an experience, where I never knew what stuff was waiting around the corner? It was pretty fun. Even when I found myself sprinting past all the optional combat sections partway through the game (the Magrus section in particular began to overstay its welcome so much I never fought any enemy I wasn't forced to again) I did still find myself looking forward to the next cutscene and how exactly it was going to be presented. If you're curious but on the fence, I'd say wait for a sale, but I definitely think the game is worth playing just to see all the fun stuff inside. Or just for the soundtrack alone TBH.

Ive played every game from Suda 51. This is my least favorite. Alot of dumb mechanics, game gets boring really quick and music is awful. Suda games arent particulary good and people just play them for the weirdness. Dont recommend this game whatsoever. 50 dollars for this is a crime
Was waiting for this game for a long time,Love the story, the gameplay, the graphics. The fights are nice but quite repetetive and weapons feel weak at times,The music sucked idk could've been better but my major issue is that i defeated the final boss 4 times but it would always get stuck on a white screen after the QTE so i cannot essentially "complete" the game...*sigh* 6.3/10
This game was absolutely trippy from head to toe, definitely Suda at his most unhinged, and I love it for exactly that. The combat is an evolution to No More Heroes 3 with its Bastard System, which is great because I loved No More Heroes 3. I found all the characters to be endearing, most of all Benjamin Stargazer. I always love when David Bowie gets immortalized. I just wonder if this is the direction Grasshopper games are gonna go moving forward, because right now anything is possible. Either way, I'm here for whatever that guy does next.
A Suda 51 se la suda todo. Juegardaco https://eljugonsolitario.com/2026/02/26/analisis-romeo-is-a-dead-man/
I 100% the game, it is most like a suda51 game, and oozes with all different art styles. Do play the game, a fair warning to those just checking the reviews before buying there is no parry function in the combat of Romeo is a Deadman. (if you have a problem with that) - Not to mention for lower end devices your frames may drop, as this game lacks optimization specifically in the puzzle part of the game. (Subspace) You mostly depend on movement and shear damage, and this game has a mix of combat from most suda51 games. (Shadows of the Damned and No More Heroes 3)
Nobody else makes games like this. Romeo is unadulterated creativity. It's raw. It's fun. It's serotonin for my brain.
hell yeah just enjoyed slaying tons of beasts with my awesome collection of swords and guns. now its time to get into the real meat and potatoes: blindly running around a maze the asylum level can only be described as a truly awful roblox horror game
