It's an alright game, perfect if you need something to fidget with while listening to a podcast. Other than ballistae tho, all other towers are useless, so if it's the variety that is drawing you in, HUGE skip. All other towers are just flashy but highly impractical.
I had a ton of fun with this one. I love both Roguelikes and Tower Defense games so this is straight up my alley. There's a couple things that could be improved and added on, but unfortunately the Developer has stopped working on this game. However there has been rumours that Rogue Tower 2 is underway which I would love to see and I hope it is true. One of those "Do I want to put Icing on this cake that's already pretty good, or do I want to make another cake that uses tastier ingredients.."

Great game. I saw it develop over time. Each tower is unique. Trying each one requires a slightly different strategy to the game and a lot of experimentation, which brings (for me) interest to a strategy game. Otherwise, path management and tower priority are also inspired game mechanics for the user. I spend more time playing this game than the rest in my library. There are ways the game could improve or change, but I love it! Excited for the next one!
very fun, very SIMPLE, roguelike tower defense...the progression, balance, and overall gameplay appear to be lovingly tuned...there's no time wasted on lore or story or anything, the bosses all have humorous names/themes and there aren't a lot of barriers to trying new things and experiencing everything the game has to offer HOWEVER, the UI/UX is easily one of the worst i've ever experienced, follow the top review's advice and easily fixed a lot of it with mods: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198054905600/recommended/1843760 which still doesn't fix every problem with the UX but it's a big enough improvement that game is still worth getting for $15
lovely little rouge-like tower defense with fun mechanics, plenty of variety in towers/defenses, challenges, special modes, as well as a pretty good meta progression. 9/10 for me
love this ♥♥♥♥
This game is really great to play if you are absolutely drunk as hell or high as f*ck. I usually launch it when almost anything else I wanna do takes me needing to focus more than I care to do, but it still allows me to do some thinking. If you want more a challenge, you can increase the amount of lanes that lead to your tower, and I do really like the way the progression works because the amount of things you can unlock/upgrade really let's you have a unique playthrough every new game for quite a while.
Fun tower defense game. Generally it's as difficult as you want it to be, but there is an aspect of luck that makes you keep going.
love this game, I have played hours on here without mods. I hope that one day I can get passed level 51 on a solo lane.>u<
A must play for tower defense enthusiasts. It's a roguelike tower defense. Easily worth hundreds of hours of gameplay. Unique aesthetic and gameplay elements, with a sick soundtrack to boot.
