Reviews
I recommend Rogue Blight, especially for the price. I’m about 5.6 hours in and so far I’ve had a good time with it. The bosses are probably the highlight: they’re fun to fight, have some different mechanics, and there’s more variety than it initially seems. I saw another review complain about the bosses, but when you move up to the next difficulty you actually get a completely new boss lineup. The progression is decent, although upgrades start getting expensive pretty quickly. There are enough upgrades to work towards, but once the prices ramp up, progression slows down and runs can start feeling a bit more repetitive. The challenge maps are a cool idea on paper, but the execution is very hit-or-miss. Some modifiers genuinely change how you play, while others are just annoying as ♥♥♥♥. Having lightning strike the ground every six seconds, or some variation of that, doesn’t create an interesting challenge — it mostly makes me want to avoid that map. Not every modifier is bad, but quite a few feel more irritating than fun. For the price, though, I think it’s easy to recommend. Based on what I’ve played so far, I can see myself getting around 10 hours of good fun out of it, possibly more if the later difficulties keep adding enough variety. Good bosses, some interesting ideas, solid value for the price — just don’t expect every challenge modifier to be fun.

Must play
macht super viel spaß und ist nicht langweilig. kann ich jeden empfehlen
A remarkably polished and well designed soulslike. The combat is very quick and satisfying, encounters are short with nearly now downtime. Imagine a legacy dungeon from Elden Ring, but without exploration. The core gameplay loop will be fun if you enjoy soulslike combat. The art style is captivating and the bosses in particular are very cool and satisfying to think about. The game isn't super well-balanced, with some builds (wind+ice wands) being WAAY stronger than others (bleed). Overall, really good stuff 8/10
Very fun game
This game is really really good. When I started it took some time to get used to the controls and I lost several runs but you always get some progress with leveling up which unlocks new drops. Got a life steal sword and that together with more and better health potions made it easy to get a win. And a second win. Haven't played more yet but I am surely going to. The combat feels really good and the reason you die is pretty much only your own fault. Learning the moves of the bosses are key and most things are pretty good at telegraphing what is coming. Monsters have had a lot of imagination into their looks and when you first see them atleast I went "OH F---" and thought this was the end of the run but they just look more nasty than they are :) If you like shorter roguelites (where you do a lot of runs) with skill combat I would try it out.
one of the best games ive played this year. reminds me of an old flash game mixed with Bloodborne and Rogue Legacy 2. actual 9/10 dont miss this one frfr
I wish there was a middle review, but for the price if you miss salt and sanctuary it can be pretty fun. Biggest pro is that there are more bosses than in the first map. So in that regard it's fine. Biggest con is that there is not enough weapon variety. No two handers or bows... wtf. Also no reason not to just spam the same stat int/dex/str. If there were more combat options, content and the camera a bit farther away it would be a fully endorsed recommendation. As it is it's just ok.
cool combat, lovely art style, has some difficulty to it, meta progression is simple to understand, loot system is nice, pretty good game overall
