i love it
I find this game amazing. I don't have enough strong will to design my learning path by myself, so this approach to learning guitar as a game seems to work for me. I just find a song that I like and start playing. In the game there is a riff repeater, where you can select fragment of a song, set its difficulty and speed and play it again and again. You can set it up such way, that the speed and difficulty increase if you played it without errors. You can also make it manually, if for example note detection did not 100% work. There are short lessons and I find them pretty good. After playing the game, I feel motivated to watch some youtube videos to learn additional stuff, like technique. This is also great: I see progress and it motivates me. I had no bigger issues running it, just had to set fps limit to 120. I connect to pc using original rocsmith cable (have it from ps3 version of the game), but there are instructions how to do this using an interface and normal guitar cable.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

i use rocksmith for custom songs and a cheap man's amp sim
I probably wouldn't be able to play guitar if it wasn't for this game, or I definitely wouldn't have practiced as much.
Just couldn't get this to work. To start the game there's a calibration you have to do and I could barely get passed that. I tried direct cable from amp and my studio microphone and I was playing so loudly my neighbors are probably pissed, but the game said it was too quite. I tried recording from my computer and the volume is fine. Once I barely passed the calibration by blowing out my eardrums, the game didn't even think I was playing the right notes on certain strings like high E and A, which I assume had something to do with the calibration. This seems like a really cool game and concept but unfortunately I just couldn't get it to work.
Ok yes yes Ubisoft has shown time and time again they don't care about the consumer, other than Ubisoft being stupid with the licensing and just in general doing Ubisoft ****, with having 2,200+ hours and many more to come here are a few of my opinions on negative comments for this game. To start off I want to say if you don't put in effort to learn then you won't!! I really don't understand how I have seen people claiming to be guitarist outside of playing Rocksmith yet say it makes them feel it's their first time picking up guitar, (specific commenter also only has 2.5hrs in game) I'm sorry maybe you just need to practice? As someone in an active band, I have never had issues playing songs on Rocksmith that I put effort into learning Also don't get all the comments saying "game crashes all the time and can barely play 2 songs" never had an issue there and my PC is not in great health to say the least cause I have other games crash regularly The minigames, this is one I agree with the negative comments as I've had some that felt halfway decent and others that just never seemed to work right, possibly cable issues which leads into......the Realtone cable, died out on me a couple years ago and I refused to buy a new one for $70 or $40 on Ebay. Luckily you can play in disconnected mode with your amp, which I could understand being an issue for some but not me The bootup, yea I get it's a little tedious to do the Ubisoft connect every time you load up but I feel that's not a big deal for someone who's going to be playing for 30-45 minutes at a time like I do. If you're trying to play a quick song before leaving the house or something I could understand Overall the game itself is fine don't buy it for the DLC though just use CDLC, if you want to get into playing guitar it can teach you if you put in the effort and even has technique classes. Have played for a while and want to learn a few of your favorite songs? Then check out the CDLC Ignitionforge stuff, thousands of songs to check out from every genre you could imagine. So to all the people who still enjoy this game despite Ubisoft being special needs, keep playing and keep rocking
