i feel as though the side car on the bike in multiplayer mode is probably one of if not the greatest additions to a game, any game of all time. 2/10 (playtester/sidecar idea guy)
Easily the best Godot engine platformer out there. Robot-X is the realization of every boy's fantasy circa-1991, with art assets seemingly taken straight from the pages of a composition book. The game is light and cartoonish; the gameplay is straightforward, with levels that are generally easy by design, although they do throw some fun combinations of enemies at the player that could trip you up. Bosses and boss sections require the player to think just a little bit, and goose the fun factor. Altogether, Robot-X is fun, polished, and challenging enough to stay compelling; if you're reading the reviews, this game is probably a good fit for you.

Neat throwback to 90s platform games and run & guns, starts easy then becomes more challenging though never too frustrating or unfair. Additional levels are pretty tough however. Cute and serviceable graphics with a few cool touches, the enemy mooks changing outfits depending on the setting is another nice nod to retro games. Right length too, not too short but doesn't overstay its welcome either.
Nice indie 2D platformer/shooter. Accessible developer. The game could use more checkpoints and more enemy variety, specially on latter stages. The last bosses and some enemies are really strong. But overall I recommend it!
I've only played a tiny bit of the game but can already tell it's a good game made by someone who loved the GBA/SNES era of platformers. The pixel art is excellent and the platforming and movement is smooth. Nice to be pleasantly surprised by a 2d platformer for once! So many half-baked ones.
This game is such a fun run and gun platformer. Great boss fights and super charming sprite work. Highly recommended!
What a blast, very fun. Loved the art style and sound design. Highly recommend.
somebody should tell this robot how to shoot diagonally
Solid platforming that feels very CRISP. There are a lot of cool bosses in the game, but there quite a few times where the developer reuses a boss in a new situation. There's plenty of game to be played here and I'm glad to say it works well on my Steam Deck.
Good game.
