RoboCop: Rogue City

I enjoyed the game, visual design and how it felt like another RoboCop movie. There were elements of story reuse and I had a few crashes. Overall fun for me. Not sure if I'll replay it but a fun title if you enjoy the RoboCop themes and world.

Copaganda slop. And not especially convincing at that - the presentation of the story is broad and silly. The voice acting is beyond hokey. A character model that looks like a 20-something has a voice actor affecting a 9-year-old child voice at one point, just as an example. If you are ACAB, you will likely find it torturous to play as a citizen-hassling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as imperious as Robocop is in this game. And as far as gameplay is concerned, it's only marginally better. I found myself itching for the next shooting segment, which are fun enough but somehow always felt unresponsive or inexact. Hard to put my finger on, but I think the game itself has an input lag problem. Possibly a user-error related issue relating to my settings. Anyway, all the ancillary systems and mechanics feel so bolted on and vestigial, I found myself bored and sleepwalking through them until the next hit of dopamine from the shooting. Just skip it - you're not missing anything.

Très bon jeu, L'histoire est bien écrite, les dialogues sont bien fait, la musique est bonne. Les effets spéciaux (explosion, tirs, ricochets) rendent l'expérience plus immersive. Je recommande ce jeu en tout cas. Il faut une bonne quinzaine d'heures pour finir le jeu et avoir tous les succès.

Incredible game for fans of the original films. Captures so much of the grit, the feel and the power fantasy of being Robot Cop. The gun boards are a great way to create different builds and customize to your preferred playstyle, as well as to create the infinite explosive death wand that you wave vaguely around the room until everything is confetti. investigation portions are fun and exploring the entire map feels rewarding as well. Writing is superb, although the returning characters voice acting isn't always up to snuff. the weakest part is the station stuff, slow lumbering and kinda plodding plot wise too. Still a barrel of beans in the wind, twisting without fate or chance. #BEEF

While a bit clunky and weird at times, the combat feels fun and it makes you feel like Robocop.
