This game regularly goes on sale for under $5.00. That might make this the best deal I've had for a video game to date. Not only does this contain really fun story and characters, RoboCop: Rogue City is borderline god fantasy levels of badassery in video game form. Even after 20 hours. I never got sick of throwing random criminals onto or off of the rooftops of buildings just because I could. I never got sick of lobbing land mines, motorcycles, and dumpsters like frizbees at everyone I could find. And I never got sick of activating slow motion, shooting someone in the Johnson, and watching the grenade they were holding slowly fall and turn them into red mist. If anything I just described sounds remotely interesting; When you see this game on sale again: Buy it, Play it. It is very

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Story is great, action is great, and detective side-missions are awesome (and truly make this stand out from just another FPS). However, it's sad that the developers couldn't do what the amazing mod community could and fix this game. Before modding, it's a good game marred by performance, audio, and visual bugs. With the mod community's help and some simple UE5 commands that should have been implemented as game options, HDR can actually be enabled and all of the performance, audio, and visual issues are just about removed. Very pleasant experience after using these reflections/illumination flaring fixes and HDR enablement: r.ReflectionMethod=2 r.Lumen.Reflections.Temporal=0 r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.Temporal.MaxFramesAccumulated=32 r.AllowHDR=1 r.HDR.EnableHDROutput=1 r.HDR.Display.OutputDevice=5 Plus everything in the Ultimate Engine Tweaks ini created by P40L0 on Nexus Mods makes all the difference in your experience with this game. After all of that, game is phenomenal.
The best Robocop game you could ever hope for? It’s a simple, ‘old-school’ action game, but a very effective one – the sort they don’t make anymore these days. It has an original and entertaining story, very faithful to the original material, with enjoyable gameplay. I’d definitely recommend it.
Standard arcade shooter. Lots of lag and stutter.

Throwback in more ways than the obvious. It puts you in the shoes of one Alex Murphy, aka Robocop, from the classic 80s film. The design team did an excellent job of capturing that world, down to minute details. The 80s cars dressed up to be future-ristic, the decor, the city feel and most of the tech. Plus, many of the original actors are back, at least in terms of facial features. i don't know if they did the voice work as well or the rights issues. Couple nitpicks. PCBs look 'modern' then again, a genuine 80s pcb would look to a modern audience like a kid used crayons. Servers look modern, even if the monitors look like they would put a dent in a tank. Which leads to genre classification and the second case of throwback. This game has elements of being an fps, but its pretty much what used to be called an immersive sim a-la Deus Ex. You walk around and solve crime related side quests. Even if the gunplay is slow to anyone under the age of 40, these parts bring the game to screeching halt. They remind me a lot of the Police Quest games (that really dates me ik), but instead of pixel hunting clues, you use robo-vision to find high lighted clues. Adds narrative depth, a little XP and sometimes "power ups." On that note, there is A LOT of checking every corner of the maps for collectables. Since finding them is part of the level-up system, they don't feel optional, so missing some feels like you lost out. And yes, its very possible to miss something, even if you think you checked everywhere. The rpg elements are threadbare, but you're Robocop so they feel a little contrived to add depth where there was none. You can pick up guns, but most are a let down, especially once you upgrade your standard sidearm with the aforementioned pcbs. Also, a weird mini game, that'll take a minute to figure out (hint: the directional nubs on each element-don't combine them at first!) All in all, recommended primarily to fans of 80s films. Not quite a boomer shooter, but definitely a blast from the past.
