Good game. when you push a button, your character does something and you can push multiple buttons to make your character do multple things. fanatstic game design. no notes.
great game, love all the charecters and comunity is very active :D
This game lacks what makes Rivals 1 fun. Either go play the first game or Smash Ultimate, rather than an in between that lacks polish and is buggy (yes, even within the first 20ish minutes of play). Rivals 1 is different but still feels modern and nice to play as, but Rivals 2 doesn't actually make itself unique in any meaningful way and simply isn't as fun. I know this review is based on ~30 minutes of playtime, but if two other people and I can all agree to return it within that timeframe, there is a fundamental problem with the game.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It features interesting characters. Each character's combat moves are also interesting. I didn't find its arcade mode as engaging as the Rivals of Aether I. There are more skins compared to the Rivals of Aether I. The characters in this version offer interesting gameplay. It includes various events, and you have access to all past events to unlock their items, though these events essentially function as a "free pass." But I preferred the pixel art style of Rivals of Aether I.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game
It's the game I always wished Smash was, before I even know that I wanted something more out of Smash. Wish I found it when I was younger and had more time on my hands cause I would've lost myself to it. It's pushing the boundaries of what can be expected from a plat fighter in terms of character complexity and for that alone, I would love this game. Luckily there's a lot more to enjoy here.
Por fin le agregaron una Workshop.
only game where i 100% trust the devs and have hope for its future movement feels amazing, learning all the tech makes you feel like a genius music and sound design is incredible single most consumer-friendly live service game i've ever played if you didn't like it, try again some victory voicelines may cause brain damage
furry smash bros also just better smash bros
I like rivals 2, even though at times the removal of staple mechanics of the first game such as drift d.i. feels frustrating. the game is very rewarding and fun to learn and play and I hope it continues to improve into an even greater game.
