Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition

i love this game i first got it on my phone and then i got desktop and its so much easier and funner and its easy if you just want to breed all you got to do is race and get money and that's it you don't have to get everything like you have to do on desktop because you can buy them for cheep

Full disclosure I played the mobile game for about 18 months before I jumped to the PC version. I just hit level 20 prestige which is the max. I have a handful of goals left but otherwise I'm in story mode where I play with the custom horse creator and multiplayer. I haven't touched mulitplayer yet. Pros: • For the first 15 or so prestige levels the goals are well balanced and fun to achieve. • I really enjoy the cross breed mechanic and the stat boost that brings as you have to really think about your bloodlines. • Having access to flat racing, steeplechase, showjumping and cross country keeps away boredom while levelling and lets you produce a variety of bloodlines for a variety of purposes. I particularly appreciate the closer to realism of the showjumping at the higher levels with the tight turns, big jumps, and sometimes difficult striding. • It's great for dopamine. It's simple the understand, there are continuous milestones and feel good moments. I'm not much of a gamer but I needed something that didn't require too much brain to help me relax after a long day of work, this achieved that fabulously. Cons: • Nothing is done with the legacy bloodline. I started with a mare with Ds across the board for stats and I tried to breed some decent foals but I ended up buying a fantastic mare from the store and creating a bloodline from here. I was never penalised for it. So the legacy thing is worthless as it currently stands. • The progression on the later prestige levels is a bit tedious. The good rewards - new cross country courses, new race courses, higher level horses - dry up and get spaced out to a frustrating level. • There are only two cross country locations which gets really dull after a while. There are so many goals which result in you doing the same five courses over, and over, and over. I was really hoping we'd get four locations as there are four free roam locations but it appears we're stuck with the two. • The goal type becomes monotonous at the higher levels. They're the same things again, and again. I wanted something fresh, give me some showjumping goals, some more steeplechase goals, something with the legacy line. I don't know, just something else. Bugs: I have a mare with A+ stats across the board, she's level 9, and I still cannot win race 5 on the local cross country course. There are two spots on the course where the horse stops dead and there's nothing I can do to stop it, which loses me at least 5 seconds. I've turned down the graphics, tried every route/path, every speed, and I just cannot win that race as the horse stops every. Single. Time. It completely ruins the experience of the already frustrating cross country, and I love the cross country it's my favourite race type. Summary: Yes I recommend it if you want a fun, easy on the brain, dopamine releasing game. It has some flaws, but it's worth the sale price of £15 that I paid.

Думала что это будет игра, где можно полноценно ухаживать за лошадьми хотя-бы на ферме какой или на локации, а по сути это просто симулятор нажатия кнопок на интерфейсе с 3д моделями лошадей, очень разочарована. Единственное, где вы можете поуправлять лошадью и наездником — мыльные скачки с картонками вместо зрителей. Надо отойти от этой "игры", пойду лучше поиграю в Барби Приключения на Ранчо, даже она на фоне этого имеет больше геймплея.

Maybe not worth at full price, but def on a sale. It's a fun game, doesn't take itself super seriously, very addicting though haha!

Gra jest orginalna (pod względem dziedziny konnej) i dobrze zrobiona jeśli chodzi o gry o tej tematyce. Naprawdę wyścigi, wyścigi z przeszkodami oraz cross country to coś co możesz spotkać w innych grach o koniach, jednak nie w takiej formie jaką jest rozbudowa rancza branie udział w konkursach/zawodach. Dobrze rozbudowany system rozmnażania, pod względem przepięknych dobrze wykonanych umaszczeń oraz wybór wielu ras, czy tworzenia koni zmieszanej rasy jest naprawdę super dla koniarzy. To tyle jeśli chodzi o moją opinię <3 Naprawdę polecam ją każdemu kto kocha konie i lubi wyścigi, które tutaj wywołują emocję. Papatki mam nadzieję, że moja opinia wam się przyda. :3
