Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Of the 6 markets with a position on both sides, 6 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 51.43/day in the week to Aug 6 → 60.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

RimWorld is a masterpiece of colony simulation, offering infinite unique stories and deep strategic gameplay that keeps you hooked.
Great game, with cool mods. BUT the DLC's are way to pricy. $25 bucks for a important game mechanics is just slimy.
Военных преступлений я всё ещё не совершал, но с каждым днем, я все больше представляю как их делать
mixed review i logged way more offline hours then listed and this is a bit of a rant but always tried to help cool niche inda style games even pre steam days and now when you buy/lease/permission to play a game early on to help the devs/founding it then vs now they always turns into cash grebes and Deluxe Pack/content versions quickly Turning a game thats worth like 10bucks into a 200 dollar/content pack thats still watered down vs free mods by fans. game that make ever more mod knockoffs/steal ideas/content for DLC's while also killing off/breaking old modes with every updates to a 1998s bit-playstyle looking game people that like the game make way better content/mobs for free to have fun that are way better then the DLC/CONTENT outright. yet i could almost never even get through a run/story as between working and playing other games would get maybe a day in play wise/time in a month before all my mods got scrambled every time having more Corrupted playthroughs with alot of hours wasted more then total safe/save play time where i left off last time:. as the base game feels striped for dlc cash slop/$20+ A pop for base game added content. let alone better mods have been around years just no time to untangle that mess every game now from Skyrim to fallout 4. ksp. 7 days to die. ect ect ruining modes just causes short play more fun as they break any long term play year+saves or casual game breaks for life reasons. . by the time i try and play one or the other games old save it's mod juggling hell and its always just hey buy a chicken tactical suit fortnight style updates for even solo games now days or rants due rust/ect over fixing or adding value to the games for players. if the base games are so good why is the dlc content priced so high always ? games selling you a puzzle box with half the pieces while selling you the missing ones in dealer size pack/dlcs price chunks when your dopamine's gameplay sense hits a wall. The Metric Shield: Developers get to hide behind the excuse of "Well, we don't officially support third-party mods, so it's not our fault your save broke." This completely ignores the reality that their game only survived for a decade because of those exact community mods across a wide range of games. i liked this game when i had it running with like 20 mods at most and playing it my way not a forced playstyle if your just going to waste 35bucks base game i cant recommend this. to many game devs living off a one off game while ignoring that the players make their own fun and trying to sell them it in packets like digital/drug dealer in bit size chunks its gross. that and them always actively hating their own players bases as a pre 2010 looking flash game be milking players for profits with high priced dlc's wild af now days as i can no longer feel/think they my money to use funds/game wise. games used to be a spare time hobby over a prop up a lazy af frim/AAA model where teen level high school games codding aka flash games turn massive cash grabs. MOBLE/CONSOLE GAMING PROFIT MODELS SLOWLY BLEEDING OVER INTO PC GAMES RUINGING EVRYTHING with bloated screens and goofy af layouts for tablet gen as historically all pc games where total packages with real added value and work done after launce as well vs cutting/holding back content or neutering a game to sell you the bits back that even made it make sense/work i love sim games just that they all turned into games that are whale seekers over being reusable priced aka Train Simulator Classic (~$15,600) Star Citizen (Up to $48,000+) basically forced updates and fake improvements/mod locking/breaking on old games is forcing casual players on any/game to become retro and or even offline just to use modes for solo games in peace. while online only pvp games turn into meta/slop streamer driven unimprovement ruined loops copying fortnight/call of duty models/gameplay blends after they sell out over their base version like rust did. to put it bluntly breaking my games to sell me the worse version content then the mods GAVE ME makes me not even want to play the game. buy it if its on sell if it's you kinDa Game. watch gameplay footage before buying though as its not a 1/1 sim control wise and the story/A.I will curb stump you for fun balance wise.
as a stupid person, this game took a long time for me to learn. I didn't even visit a new tile in the first year! hence the 1k hours. But damn this game was so fun! I love the stories we can build by chance. Made some crazy memories.
wayyyyy too complicated and just not for me
I believe one of my sons has over 1000 hours in this game and some would say, 'what a waste'. I couldn't disagree more. I was skeptical of this game to say the least and have been gaming since 1988, so seeing the graphics on this one I thought for the longest time, "you've got to be kidding me"... but I thought finally give it a shot based on all the reviews- and wow- this is just one of the best I have played in my time as a gamer. Went through the tutorial and thought, ok, simplistic, then played the game and realized there is no possible way any tutorial could encompass all this game has. And the story telling is simply the clincher- tragedy, loss, triumph, humor and it's all you and the story doing all the telling. It is, I dare say, brilliant. As a metaphor, to me, this game was Susan Boyles walking out on stage for the first time to sing, "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. I was the crowd, full of laughter and derision, but hey, I'm here, so let's see what happens. And then she sang. Not quite that emotional a moment for me with the game, but every bit a, 'I couldn't have been more wrong if I tried' one. We want that attachment as gamers. A reason to care. All this game does is give you more reasons to care and tune in for the next episode by you.
This is quite possibly the best game ever made.
