Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 29 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

dobra odreagovacka :-)
Gamepad does not work. I have 2 xbox 1 controllers and both dont work
It's not for me. I find it hard to actually see anything in this mess of effects. Controls feel funny, hitboxes for powerups are often this exact tiny bit too small for me to collect. Controller support seems odd to me, may be my configration but I can't figure out how to control menus by just button clicks. I seem to always have to use the sticks to control the mouse (or actually grab the mouse). Meh, no fun for me.
I really enjoy this shmup. The music is an excellent techno style. The pleasant woman's voice will tell you need more training when you quit after losing a level, but also praises you when you do well. Lots of crystal clear lasers, and plays well on an arcade stick. I'm using a F500 Elite. Tough, and maybe feels a little unfair at the boss level, but overall a great purchase when it's on sale. I'd say this is a B tier shmup.
Rigid Force Alpha

Time Played:
35 Minutes (before idling for cards)
Last Played:
16th of January, 2026

Waiting for Terraria 1.4.6 Volume 16
Yay:
+ While I love R-type's force system, I very much liked how non-finicky this was with the positioning of it. Rather than needing to blast it off, recall it, and dance around it for it to attach to the rear, simple bumper taps are used to switch its direction.
Meh:
~ The floating-head AI on-board the ship would have looked better to me if they didn't animate it. Definitely better than Star Saviours' chewing mannequin people, but still hokey looking to me.
Nay:
- My first time booting it up, I got a slew of error messages, and had to start it in safe mode. - It dumps you right into the tutorial, rather than title screen, meaning the first bit I played was in a tiny window. - They also don't show the controller buttons for the actions they're wanting you to do... - I found everything way too large, and fast-moving. - Due to the above, next to no room for evasion is present, and much of the damage took was deemed “cheap and unavoidable”. - No speed adjustments on the ship. - If you die even once, especially during bosses, almost no hope for a recovery is had. - Most of my gameplay was “try to manoeuvre, get hit, restart to have more health, come back in, skip both of the first level's intro cinematics, repeat.” I did get to the second boss once, but then died to it, and couldn't hit it beyond glancing shots. so restarted back to level 1, only to repeat the above process several times more. - One of the achievements requires you don't get hit, when all of this is working to make sure that's as cheaply-stolen, and difficult as possible. - Much like Satazius, this is an inferior version of the game, as it got updated on other consoles as “Rigid Force Alpha Redux”, which appears to have changed some things. - Rather derivative of the games it's trying to pay homage to, as the first boss was basically copy-pasted from R-Type III: The Third Lightning, and second reminded me of the Phantom Cell from the same game. What I assume was the final boss of level 2 (Needed to restart again...) also heavily-derived from Gomander to what I'd consider “Near-plagiaristic degrees”. - All of this prevents the game from having its own identity, I feel. - On going to idle for cards, I found out dragging the “Master Volume” slider to 0 does nothing...and that said menu is navigated via cursor, even when using a controller...

Verdict:
The more I played this one, the more flaws showed. Not only is my assessment that almost nothing by way of originality is had within, but most of my gameplay consisted of the same, tired loop of restarting, skipping cutscenes, taking cheap damage, feeling like I was moving through mus, and lastly, repeating all of this. Thus, I can only assume the “Rigid” refers to the treacle-like slowness of the ship, and lack of variation on how you can play the game. Given this is an inferior version, we're only missing Super R-Type, LEO, and Final 1 on PC, and most of the Gradius series can also be found here, I see no need to get this over those other, much-more-favourable games.
Placed in:
4: Dourly-Dismissed.
