This is a neat game, but still does have some minor issues. [olist] [*] Movement could be improved as it seems too fast and could be improved by slowing it down slightly. Movement in 2D games usually have a minor delay in movement where upon releasing a movement key the player slows down instead of just stopping via friction. [*] The UI elements seem a bit big (as if it was for a mobile game.) This is a small issue that could be fixed by adding an option to scale them down. [*] There is a very small issue where when the game is being restarted, by clicking the "Yes" button multiple times it will reload the black to game fade-transition multiple times. [/olist] Other than those small issues, this is a good game and has quite some potential. The player being able to manipulate the bullet as it's being shot is a neat idea.
Ricochet Ranger is a great game. At first glance, the game looks like it'll be like any other game however I was surprised to see that this game is not only hard but also has hidden mechanics. The difficulty is just right, where you will need to play the game a lot only just to start getting good. The power-ups are well thought out to the point where it helps the player, but cant is overused. The magnet mechanic is something I'm still getting used to because I believe you can just do so much with that alone. Of course, we can't forget the main game function that makes this game a whole. The ricochet, Its an idea I never would've thought of, it's simple, but with it, it gives this game its glory and uniqueness. The way you can use it to change the direction of the ball instantaneously is probably the main technique I just need to get better at. It feels like once I have that down I might be able to finally beat the game.

fun but realy hard game
Really fun game, I love the idea of reflecting the ball off of the player. It makes the game much more interesting than at first glance. It's a graphically very non-intensive game, which means even a potato PC can run it smoothly (probably lol)
Epic game. The main mechanism--reflecting off the ball--is something I've never seen in other games before. It's difficult to become accustomed to this mechanism at first. But, after you've gotten familier, you will realize how exciting this mechanism can be. It's just such a refreshing moment when you smash several enemies every bounce. Aside from the mechanism, the game is really well made. It's mastery of 8-bit game style: combination of high quality retro ost, pixel art, and stylish vfx. I haven't noticed any critial bugs and lags. I could easily immerse myself in beating enemies surrounding me.
Really hard game but a lot of fun! The reflect idea was really interesting! Though being able to be hurt by your own bullet was a bit frustrating but it's nice that there was a mode that let you turn that off. Overall good game would recommend!^^
This game is really fun, but it needs some practice and patience to get use too. Overall a really good game.
Really fun but definitely not a easy game to master. If you like challenging games, this is for you!
I haven't played a game with such an elegant and creative game mechanic in a long time. Easy to understand but hard to master. It feels like a classic game.
In general this is a very mechanically challenging game. I personally am not able to play at that mechanical level but I would recommend it to those who are looking for a tough game to play or are wanting to challenge their mechanical skills in a fun game.
