Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Run your store by day.
Do whatever it takes to survive by night.
The longer you stay in business, the more chaotic things become.
Order movies, snacks, toys, and rare collectibles. Stock shelves, manage customers, and expand your store from a dying shop into a thriving business.
Hire employees, automate operations, and optimize every inch of your store.
Every decision determines whether you survive another week.
Oh and did we mention we have PLENTY of store customization options?
The store alone isn’t enough.
Run underground fight clubs. Gamble on scratcher tickets. Install a claw machine. Take on shady side hustles across the city.
Some will make you rich.
Some will ruin you.
Produce and release your own original films to compete with RentNet.
Manage production, release films, and turn your store into something far bigger than a rental shop.

This game is super hollow, monotonous, and left me bored af. I got it thinking it was going to be a fun co-op sim like supermarket together. It's not. It's barely a game.
Good game but to many bugs to be recommended.
Very heavy performance issues. Clearly was not ready for release

Was genuinely excited for this game. Got it when 1.0 came out and was instantly disappointed. In order to accelerate the 1.0 release they removed some features along with co-op. Some of the features they left in are so buggy that they break the game. I played for 2 hours and encountered 2 extremely game-breaking bugs. First, an audio bug related to the video mixer that creates an insane collision buzzing sound. When you try to fix it by removing the invisible videos from the shelf, they go into your hotbar instead. They’re still invisible and clog your hotbar because you can’t get rid of them. After that I started a new game and immediately ran into a bug that doesn’t let you pick up and move the rewind/checkout tables. I had fun with this game until the bugs appeared, so I can see the potential. But why release a 1.0 if it still has common game-breaking bugs and removed content? I’m not going to refund because I hope this game does better in the near future, but I am so extremely disappointed that I feel the need to not recommend this game to anyone in the meantime.
Okay, I've only had it for 30 minutes and I'm already hooked xD I especially like the setting, it's quirky and out of this world. Love the fallout-like VHS mascot and it really is just super relaxing making your own store.

Can't remove mustache
I don't think this game has had an update that actually fixed anything. Really makes it seem like the developer doesn't play their own game. Releasing 1.0 and removing multiplayer is a wild decision and I have no idea how they expected it to go over.
If this was a major update and theres still this many bugs, how awful was it before this? I like this game but you gotta get on this ♥♥♥♥ and fix it now
Welcome to the wonderful world of Doug... oops, I mean the wonderful world of video stores that smell of the '90s. A trip back in time that leaves me with a bittersweet taste. I really like the graphic style, and the mini-games are clever. We appreciate being able to leave the video store and explore this city filled with activities. The multiplayer mode worked perfectly for me and my friend. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend purchasing it as it stands. First, I experience monstrous lags when I fill the shelves. It takes a good 20 seconds before I see the shelf fill up. Then, our employees are as dumb as donkeys. I took a little time to understand how the game works for restocking in the store. Everything is organized by category: videos by genre (Sci-Fi, Action, Family, Horror, etc.). So our employees, or rather our deadweights, will sort all the DVDs by genre. So the movies will be mixed but always in the same style. It can be bearable. Unfortunately, the other categories are more chaotic. Snacks encompass both beverages and treats. So it's impossible to create a pure beverage section. Our employees do not prioritize stock assortments. So we can end up with 120 bags of chips and zero popcorn all because the employee chooses to take all the stock of chips before the popcorn. And the storage situation is a living nightmare. Our employees are so foolish that they can't manage to store the same film in the same storage. I mean, in all the games, the AI tries to fill in the incomplete slots before storing in a new one. Here, well, the same film can end up with 3 videos on one shelf, 1 video on another, and 4 on a third. This game is quite fun to play, but honestly, without an update, it's better to avoid it.
