This game has its issues: it's plaggued bugs(mostly in coop); and for a rogue-like, it's honestly too easy. Maybe because we played in coop, but we basically died only a couple of times - once in the first and once in the second halfs of the game, playing a couple of biomes solo seemed as easy; coop is a bit of a joke, it's slightly better than dark souls coop, but it isn't a complete coop experience either, a lot of mechanics like teleports are not optimized for 2 players, progression is only for a host(a person who joins has some separate progression levels - "ranks" - it's levels you can gather only if you join others, but they are not that useful and you don't get any main story progression or even story achievements as a host does); the story is multilayered but might not be for everyone's taste due to certain plot twists, the ending is kinda unsatisfying as well like it wasn't finished especially considering the last boss is the most boring boss in the game. But the gameplay is incredibly engaging, the sound design is fantastic, the mid-run progression is fun, main gameplay loop becomes fun after some permanent gear upgrades, before that it's ok, some bosses are fantastic in their design, the movements are really smooth and feel so good. It's not perfect but it's very good in a lot of areas, I just wish it had received a bit more polish.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Good game
This game is really well made. I don't know why it has a mixed review. I'm glad I picked this up.
Made me want to throw a brick at my PC at times, 10/10 would recommend
It really is a great game.
GREAT GAME
Grabbed on a sale with no expectations. Expectations were exceeded.
The PC port definitely has its issues but I still bought it here instead of on PlayStation so I could play co-op if I wanted to. The core gameplay is really solid although in typical roguelike fashion it does get repetitive after doing a ton of runs. Truthfully the game doesn't even really benefit much from being a roguelike beyond padding the playtime further and making it more replayable. It's also quite challenging at times. The DLC offers a much better roguelike experience though where you can just zoom through runs. A very different game from the typical Sony offering. The story is some sort of cryptic psychological horror. I can't exactly tell you what happened lol. It's similar to souls games in that regard I guess or maybe even Alan Wake. These days since it can be had for $20 it's an easy recommend. The main problems it has on PC are stuttering problems (maybe a better CPU would help) and a memory leak that causes the textures to become very low res during a longer play session. The latter is annoying but can easily be resolved by simply suspending the run and then just reloading the game. Obviously Sony's abandoned PC now after the poor sales of their games (this game especially sold quite poorly on PC) so I'll have to play Saros on PS5 and I don't expect this game to ever get any more patches but it's still a great experience if a roguelike, bullet hell, third person shooter sounds intriguing to you. I played the game using a dualsense (wired) since it was designed around that but I assume the controls translate fine to mouse and keyboard and it's probably hardly any different with an Xbox controller either.
