Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

One of the most unique games I have ever played. Has an old school feel to it with great modern graphics. Very interesting story, its up to your own interpretation. If you like shooters that have smooth movement and gameplay unlike modern shooters that are slow and clunky, you'll like this.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Worth every monumentally frustrating moment. Both an extraordinary FPS and beautiful mind/soul campaign. I learned a great deal about my mistakes and successes. You have to return again and again then again some more to fully appreciate each piece of the story.
I'm not really a Roguelite guy. I like narrative action games, for the most part; stuff like God of War and Ghost of Tsushima are my jam. So I was a little hesitant to pick up Returnal. I heard it was a "masterpiece" from several gaming outlets, but I considered those reviews to be from the perspective of hardcore, "get gud"-type gamers, and I'm not interested in that kind of relationship to games. I want a challenge, but most of all I want immersion. I want characters and a setting that I care about. I'm so glad I bought this game. Returnal is challenging, no doubt, but it does such a good job of introducing the gameplay elements to you in an accessible, intuitive way. This is not hand-holding, nor is it a Soulslike that just drops you in and expects you to die a hundred times before you get the hang of things. It gradually increases in difficulty, guiding you along as the story unfolds. The atmosphere in this game is one of the most immersive and creative I've ever seen in a video game. Graphics are great, but not summit-level. What sets it apart isn't pure graphical fidelity but art design: the world is alien yet famililar; maze-like yet navigable. The pacing is fast enough to keep you on your toes, but not overwhelming. Some games are fun but raise your cortisol so much that you have to take a break. Not so with Returnal. This game knows when to let you breath and explore between lightning-fast battles. One more thing: the sound design of this game is truly next-level. From the music to the atmospheric background noises to the xeno technology's many alien sounds, the level of "flow" is maximized by dunking the player into a world that coheres: this is a believable world with haunting staying power. As my first game of this type, I'm blown away. Every fundamental of this game-the story, the setting, the mechanics, the sound, the gameplay loop-are excellent. 9/10
One of the best aspects of not sharing a room is that I have no risk of anyone seeing my Returnal gameplay
Much better at 120+ fps with mouse & keyboard due to the precise distance-based input for aiming. SAROS really should be the one single player game Sony still ports to PC because of this. Not buying it on PS5.
This game is absolutely fantastic! Challenging and rewarding gameplay with an almost Lynch-style story that keeping you come back again and again and again and again... I love a game that pushes my gaming skills as well as makes me think and Returnal has managed to do that on both counts. In terms of reported performance issues, there are occasional stutters on my end, but they are barely noticeable, so I can say that the memory leak is definitely present, but the severity of it seems dependent on your hardware.
ok
ok this is kinda long i have a lot of thoughts This game isnt as hard as people say it is Its difficulty lies in its menial enemies with boss fights never requiring more than 1 death, often 0 I regularly get hit harder and deal with harder patterns from medium to high end rooms than bosses I feel it also shouldnt be understated how easy it is to gain power Once you get some weapon perks unlocked, a good gun lets you BREEZE through an entire stage Some items are also way overtuned, namely resin shield, and basically win you the run instantly Act 1 is also cartoonishly more enjoyable than 2, like the difference is staggering Especially in act 2, the way this game handles boss fights ruins most tension once you get the ball rolling Once you beat a boss you unlock the way to the next area, a given Except you NEVER NEED TO FIGHT THAT BOSS AGAIN after unlocking the portal The only mandatory boss every run is the final one, of which only act 1's is hard It also has pretty obnoxious crashing on pc but its a pc port of a ps5 game is this new? If I said all that why am i still giving it a recommend? Because god it was so good Go in blind, the story is amazing The long runs produce so much tension and its genuinely addicting The issue ultimately lies in the middling replayability, which is baffling to say for a rouge like IF it goes on sale (it wont, sony game) 100% grab even if it isnt on sale i'd still recommend it Game so good I might buy a ps5 just to play its sequel
