Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.71/day in the week to Aug 7 → 26.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is great, there’s always something to do but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Really well put together and can’t wait for the video game update to add some more content in a few months. Works great on the deck and steam machine too!
This game is the coziest throwback to 90s nostalgia. I feel like I'm running my own rental store. Would be nice to have some video games to rent/sell

I'm just under 8 hours in, but I can say hands down that this is the best simulator game I've played. I love these types of games, and I've played several in the past, but this one feels far better. The gameplay in Retro Rewind feels a lot more intentional and interesting than other games of this variety that I've played before, the aesthetic design is really cool, and overall it's just really well-done. I love the unlock progressions and the fact that it shows you what you get, the achievement rewards and calendar being available to properly look at, and I really enjoy that the things I order show up in the back, not in a massive pile in front of my store. I also really enjoy the layout of the shop and the unlocks, it's not grid tiles like every other store simulator game I've played. This one's shop has a lot of character, which is nice to see. The customization options are also very cool, I like that I can change the shelves individually and have so many different options there. I also like that I can change the floors, walls, ceilings, and checkout counter for free and as much as I want. The only small issue I've had is that I wish the orange carpet from the demo was in the full game. I played the demo first to make sure I'd like the game, and I used the orange carpet in the demo. However, carpet swapped to a different swatch when I went to the full game, and orange isn't an option. That's entirely an aesthetic issue, and I can so far say that I've had no issues with anything else in the game. Of all the store simulator games, I would recommend this one a million times over, this should be the one you go for out of all the options.
Game is okay. The progression is really slow

> Jeu vraiment super sympa !
I love simulator games. They let you escape into a world in which you're in control and at the worst, financial hardship means "no money to upgrade the shop rn" instead of "ya'll I might become homeless cause my cat needed surgery." And I'd much prefer to live in the first one. This game is nostalgia central and I'm so here for it! Looking forward to the Video Game Rental Update! Sure, simulator games such as this one where there is no built in story with other characters, no home to go to, no goal to meet apart from "keep the store running", can become rather repetitive, but I for one don't really mind. I'd like the days to go by a little bit slower and perhaps not last up until 10 PM because damn I really do be working 8-22, that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rough man! And I wouldn't mind if there was some content outside of the Video Store, such as having my own apartment, maybe getting to slowly upgrade it, reno it, or get a more expensive apartment at some point, I'd find that to be rather cool. But not having those will not keep me from playing at all :)
its a chill and relaxing simulator game
