Normally I dislike store simulators, but this game was so much fun. Loved amassing a collection of vhs movies and decorating and expanding the store. Plus, the pacing is good and you never feel like you're doing nothing, even when you hire employees. I do wish, however, that there were a few more decorations available per genre.

From the 12hrs i have spend playing this game, it has been fantastic! Retro Rewind is one of those First-Time job simulation games for beginners. The only minor complaint i had was after installing the game and playing, i had a hard time clicking on the menu. the problem was in settings where my resolution wasn't set so that took some time to fix that. after that the game has been enjoyable. keep up the good work! a fun suggestion to add to the snack bar, a pizza oven to make those small personal pan pizzas like in pizza hut. pizza and movies in the 90s best combo

I absolutely love this game, I don't know if it's cause of the music, the art style or just how everything is wrapped up. But the fact that I 100% it in what feels like only a couple months of playing casually to destress is amazing both in terms of being a completionist, and just wanting to unwind and move out some VHS tapes. Absolutely worth the $20 and the developer is adding new things to it as well, there's a lot of heart and love in this game and you can see it, and plus there's a demo so you can try it out ^^ DO NOT USE THE DEMO SAVE IF YOU MAX OUT EXP THERE. It's better to just start from scratch cause you never know what you're going to get from starting over :)
