Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.71/day in the week to Aug 7 → 26.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game that is highly addicting. Spent many an hour running around organizing movies. It takes a while to do a whole year in game and each month has fun "events" that will bring customers to your store looking for a certain type of movie based on the event. The new release movies are always fun to see, all so far based off a real movie. I always get a kick out of seeing them. The art style for them is always really good and rather classic. Some of the movies have rather funny titles which make the game more fun. Squeeze Machine for an X rated movie is my favourite so far. If you want a game that kills time quickly this is a game for you.
Careful, it's addictive! I finished all achievements in about 25 hours so it's quite a quick game.

After playing the demo, I was unsure whether to buy the full version, because I was afraid recurring tasks like checkout or working the returns might become tedious. And while there is some repetition (it's a job simulator after all), so far the game has offered enough variety and sense of progress to stay enjoyable. Being able to hire an employee after a few days is really important though. The devs have made an effort to make everything feel fluid and smooth - when time is tight, you can effortlessly sprint through your store and quickly switch between tasks. No bumping into customers, no mis-clicking, no waiting times when manning a task/station. I would have loved a business management / data analysis angle - check which movies and snacks are most popular and so on. But I guess as far as game mechanics go, the game is already pretty rich.
Relaxing and charming but pretty repetitive, as most of the mechanics are pretty shallow and the flow of the game doesn't change much even as you unlock new stuff. Also, it's really annoying that there is no way to tell the return station worker how to sort the movies, aside from genres. Can recommend it to people who enjoy simple simulation games that pretty much don't challenge the player.

i had a great time with this over the summer! it was a great experience to build up my store and iterate on the layout until i loved the space overall a very fun and chill game with satisfying progression that can SOMETIMES feel a little slow, mainly because I started running out of things to do and work for aesthetics are great but the tasks are so simple and there's so few of them that it can get monotonous for sure. and even though it's really fun to customize the store, my movie selection and decorations and organization didn't feel like they were heavily impacting my customer numbers after a certain point,, and there's not a review site or customer feedback to help you know what to work on I never realized how much weight those features held in other games, but for what it is, this game is pretty great. i definitely plan on revisiting it when there's more updates and content
