About

Fix a variety of nostalgic devices inspired by iconic game consoles, handhelds, phones, cameras, music players, and home appliances. Carefully take each gadget apart, clean it, replace faulty parts, and assemble it back together using your trusty toolset.

After fully completing this game, I cannot recommend it. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and style, but the negatives far outweigh the positives for me. The game is poorly optimized for such simple stylized graphics, and the story is extremely poorly written. It tries to build suspense and throws one UNBELIEVABLE TWIST after another near the end, but unfortunately none of it works, and the writing quality feels like 2000s fanfiction. There are quite a lot of bugs. For instance, in absolutely every gaming session, half of my control buttons on the Steam Deck would stop working, forcing me to switch to a keyboard and mouse layout. The economy is also broken. At a certain point, you realize that repairing and selling tech is hundreds of thousands of times more profitable than taking orders. From that moment on, the game turns into a repetitive process of tearing down the same expensive consoles and phones while waiting for the next portion of narrative mess. I might have been able to turn a blind eye to all of this if I suffered from severe nostalgia. However, even though I held most of these devices in my hands years ago, I do not suffer from nostalgia, so it just did not hit home for me.

Un día, me duró exactamente 24 hrs y amé cada segundo, terminé el modo historia y ahora estoy sacando el resto de los logros. No puedo soltarlo.
WHY DOES THIS GAME NOT HAVE A TUTORIAL. It doesn't teach you how to play it or have any base instructions that are user friendly or good for people who are new to/bad at video games. Please. I'm so tired. TTnTT
My legally acquired key from the authorized seller Green Man Gaming was revoked without warning by the publisher (tinyBuild). Very disappointing and unprofessional handling of the situation.
Great game. No AI like some have stated. Rare for me to play chill games longer than 5 hours, and I've enjoyed myself here. Even works well on my away from home laptop. Almost all of the reviews that aren't positive for this game are people hallucinating that this game has AI art assets when it doesn't. A bunch of armchair redditors who aren't even artists themselves complaining about something that doesn't exist. AI paranoia at its finest. The artists in the game have profiles that date back to pre-AI times and have work that is consistent for that use. People are like "The VO in the trailer sounds AI". No, it doesn't. It is definitively a person, and there is emotionality there that isn't present in 2026 AI VO. Additionally instead of being lazy and accusatory, you can take the steps to learn how to analyze audio waveforms and spectrographs and actually download and analyse it. I didn't need to, as I could tell from just listening, but I did anyway and it's so hillariously NOT AI that it's pretty gross that people are calling them out for it. The best posts have come from "I am a 3D modeller" people complaining about 2D artists delivering 2D art assets. Literally a workflow they themselves don't do, and find incomprehensible. They're complaining about things THEY as 3D people, wouldn't do. Guess what? That's why you're a 3D artist and modeller, and they are a 2D artist. It's not rocket science. "I ran the thumbnail through a detector" uh huh, did you know the best AI detectors detect almost half of steams pre AI thumbnail content as AI generated? If you actually play the game, it's very obvious that there is no AI art or sound in the game. If AI was this good, we would truly be cooked.
Чилловая игра, которая практически ничего от тебя не требует кроме терпения пока не купишь автоматическую отвёртку. Та самая игра на 20~ часов чтобы выбить все ачивки, реиграбельности нет, но один ран можно провести с удовольствием.
Pros: - Realistic (if simplified) tech - Funny off brand names of real, copy righted tech brands - Enough new tech items and gameplay mechanics to keep the game engaging - Relaxing gameplay loop that, due to point above, doesn't get too old. Con, singular: This is the reason I'm rating it negatively. It almost certainly relied heavily on AI. From a majority of background and character assets being AI, to the steam banner and icon, even the english translation. All reeks of AI. This is entirely undisclosed, and even though I'll keep playing the game I do think it doesn't deserve to be priced so highly for something that relies so heavily on generated slop.
