ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs

Publisher is on a power trip and screwed up badly here.

Was enjoying the game until the publisher decided a legitimate retailer of keys was a "shady key reseller website" and revoked the key. I will be avoiding tiny build games in the future.

I can't recommend this game in good faith. I really enjoy the gameplay and I couldn't care less about devices being out of place or out of time (that's just a necessary conceit tbh), but the lazy use of AI is frankly insulting. As for more thorough points: The Good: -The realistic process of ordering broken devices to strip them for parts is fun. -It is quite frankly fun and satisfying to repair devices like this. The game has sparked in me the want to start doign this again in real life. The Bad: -The soldering beads never load after cleaning. I have to pick up the part, clean it, put it back down, pick it back up, then I can solder. --Second to this, why is the soldering part of the cleaning menu? It really should just be it's own process. -The online orders come in far too fast. I'm already blazing through them, but if I accept all the orders I end the day at like 7.30 in the morning and it doesn't feel like I get to save properly. -It feels like a lot of parts just kinda magically connect? It wouldn't have made devices that much more complex to properly factor in how things like speakers are fastened. -The writing is just awful, but I could look past that and focus on the gameplay if the characters weren't so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. Why do I have no option to refuse service to Haruhi, who is clearly getting me to fix stolen items?

Juego de los buenos, de los de meter horas como un animal. Aunque eso que dicen de ''jugar relajado'' será para otro, yo con 17 reparaciones pendientes no estaba nada tranquilo. Consejos de ''profesionah'': 1) La licencia del Airpod cunde bastante porque es sencillo de reparar y la gente de Apple paga por todo (enviado desde mi iPhone) 2) Las licencias de la guitarra también es interesante ya que en segunda mano se compra barata y se vende por 90.000 yenes. 3) Pasad de los portátiles, son un dolor de cabeza de la leche, son terribles. 4) Reparaciones de poco en poco que luego os agobiais y pedís una baja... GOTY!

I bought this game from Green Man Gaming, which is an official retailer. The key activated without any problem, but a few days later Steam removed the game from my account because the publisher had revoked it. What really bothered me was the CEO’s response. He announced that 649 keys had been revoked, said most were confirmed to have been sold on “shady key reseller websites,” and ended the post by telling people to just buy from Steam. Then it turned out that legitimate Green Man Gaming customers had been affected too. His follow-up was basically that “some legit sales” were affected, followed by a short apology for the inconvenience. That doesn’t feel like enough when paying customers suddenly lose access to something they bought legally, Green Man Gaming support has been helpful and is working to fix the situation, so my issue isn’t with them. I know this may not be the developer’s fault, but even if my key is restored, I don’t trust the publisher enough to recommend buying the game after seeing how this situation was handled.

This fun game. There's story inside the game, the cleaning, dismantle and building the devices is fun but unfortunately they using AI on the characters and maybe other stuffs. How they convey story and the dialogue is awful. There's character I hate also from RE appear in this game as parody

This game is very fun however I am about 90% sure some form of genAI was used when it comes to the visuals and music. There are twitter and forum things that go more into depth, but my gut feeling is just telling me it's AI when I look at it. I really wish I knew that before purchasing, as the devs are supposed to disclose this. Wish I could give it a thumbs up, but if it does turn out this is AI I will have to refund it.
