There’s so much to do in this game, I’m not sure why they called it a simulator, because it feels more like an RPG to me, with lots of characters, events, quests, and more. one down side, Time passes incredibly quickly, and since you can’t adjust its speed, you’re constantly rushing around. Your character also doesn’t move particularly fast for such a huge map. I genuinely recommend giving it a try!
It's in an okay place. Still loaded with bugs, loaded, had Fatal Error once and another it just completely froze and had to kill it, it needs work. It plays and feels like a good release for a small new indie dev team. Game has about 10hrs of content total. That's having done everything, explored everywhere, maxed most everything, 75/123 Achiv. Achievements are pretty much the only thing to do now and it's mostly maxing out stuff or collecting x of something type things. Mouse cursor movement is off. When you first get in there's at least a whole second delay from when you move your mouse to when the cursor actually moves. Once you finally are able to get to settings, you can adjust it to make it 1:1, not sure why that's a thing at all but okay. Even at 1 it still has an obvious delay, but it's better I guess. You can only save when you go to sleep which is absolutely moronic. Days are long, best guess a solid 30-45min. You can't speed up time or take a nap or anything to save, you can only save/sleep at the end of the day. Eliminates this as a game I can pick-up and play whenever, you're in it for a hot minute. Haggling is a joke and more or less pointless. I'll have "Poor" people agree to pay max dollar and "Rich" people refuse a 50% discount. I just set to the highest and spam the offer. Even if they walk away, I literally have a line of customers from one side of the island to the other and backed up on the dock, later. It's very arbitrary and not balanced at all. It's an illusion of a mechanic. LOADED with bugs...LOADED! Stuff doesn't work, like mini games. 3 recipes in the bar juicer, the mini game won't progress past a certain point so you can't make those drinks if someone orders them. Patrons constantly get stuck on furniture or in the dock/foundation itself. Killed enemies instantly despawn so you can't loot them. Animals die of starvation despite hundreds of units of food and water in their pen. Trees fly into space when cut down, same with harvested goods at your farm. Piece of furniture is bugged and can't be picked up. Item duplication bug. People walking through the air. Server bugs and won't serve food. The list goes on. Crafting anything is pointless. You can make food and drinks for your patrons and serve it. You can do this by utilizing your Farms/Ranch to gather the raw resources, buy the Raw Resources from the Market Island or skip all of that and just buy the Dish/Drink outright at your resort. Your Slaves can also buy them outright and serve them. Yes, you'll make more money if you gather the raw resources. But it's far easier to just buy them outright and you still make big profits. It's not enough difference in money to be game changing going to go through the steps to create your own raw resources. Basically, the Farm, Ranch and Farmer are all completely useless. After about 7-8hrs, the Island was fully built out, all the workers, it was running itself completely and needed absolutely zero interaction from me. I then started exploring the few scattered islands, they're mostly nothing. Half are just RNG gambling games, the others are just bland flavor. Couple hours I did everything on those and was bored because I literally had nothing to do. Past 10hrs, there's no replay value what so ever. The island runs itself, there's no dungeons or anything to explore, the loot is very simplified so no Legendary Artifact to hunt down or something like that. You just literally stand there and make gold which no longer has any purpose at all and what you get is exorbitant. Why am I paying the SLAVES I purchased a salary? That's not how slavery works... It's worth it for $10 but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're just bored and want something new in this genre. Also you have to be into rough indie games because boy is it.

Nice game that you can finish in a weekend or two. Which I find perfect compared to the grindy ones where you repeat the same action over and over again. It still has room for improvement but overall it's a nice hidden indie gem that anyone who loves management games should try out. It was really a blast seeing how my resort improved step by step and I filled my little island with lots of buildings. I would give it a 8/10 since there are some problems with path finding and some balancing issues but it is highly enjoyable and addictive even in this stage.
its pretty good, however i still have complaints... cons: - sweeping driftwood (idiotic and silly) - slow reload, limited shot, no upgrades for pistol - economy needs to be added, different prices from different shop keepers for items they do not sell... or from different islands... the pirate chick who will pay less for selling between islands is a good idea and makes sense, should reflect on who you sell/buy from on given island aside from the pirate chick. - supposed adult game, but have not seen any adult themes aside from textual cussing... no VO cussing. and no nudity like it warns about, it does show underwear though, again not nudity. so i am not sure why it still is listed as an adult game really. - need to add to (upgraded?) the needs system, if you are going to have to eat you need to have 'bathrooms' to go to, etc.... probably do not need shower or similar since the sea/ocean is right there, maybe for sand?, maybe not. - need to add clothing/armor, and the looting of same including ammo from dead bodies. - should be able to set prices if we do not want to haggle over every potential 'client'... - not sure how much the dev.s have paid attention to their customers from the prologue. pros: - fixed most if not all of the issues from the prologue (disapearing NPCs and dock(s) and more) - fixed quests screwing up mostly (i do not know for sure since i have not gotten super far with the quests yet) - it is still super fun, even with some of the confusion involved with farm/ranch stuff. - gameplay is smooth, (still should be able to looking around separate from navigation in canoe/tiny boat.) - PLAY THE PROLOGUE, it is a pretty good representation of the EA release of the game, it will tell you if you will like the game or not... for me it is pretty great so far despite my compaints.
i really love this game, you can do so many things but you dont really have to. i closed my resort for now and im just chilling with my farm until i have enough supplies and rooms ready. i mean you can explore the whole map, ocean and like 10 islands maybe. your own island is also huge, im not really fan of it sometimes because every night you need to run all the way back just to sleep lol, but theres also lots of places to explore and treasures to find. i didnt even unlock bar, massage or bath yet because they cost a lot. one idea maybe there can be drunk pirates between the clients and we need to shoo them away. there are already pirate raids but i mean drunk pirates coming as guests and making trouble. definitely worth the price
I have enjoyed the game so far. It has a lot of things to do and add to your resort. I like the variety of buildings you can add. Issues i have had so far... some of the workers don't do their jobs like they should, the customer flow is pretty aggressive. You will have a line twice as long as rooms you have available with no way to easily send them off. Something i would like to see in the future is more decorations and things to add to the rooms. Overall game is fun and worth the price
Sehr gut 8/10!

the amount of content is good for its price.. its really good that it allows playing in both automation and creative styles. it absolutely deserves its price, also just like in other reviews i havent encountered a bug yet
