About

Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, play as Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run but determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale.
Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur' Island, where she faces deadly trials, navigates treacherous trails, solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her. But the true challenge awaits, as the terrifying creature hidden behind the myth will soon resonate with her…

Sophia is a skilled, agile, and strong-willed fighter who engages in dynamic and violent melee combat. Followed by many enemies, each drawn to the Island to reclaim a mysterious treasure, you must navigate a treacherous maze. Rely on your agility, tricks and sharp reflexes to outsmart enemies, perfect your parries, and unleash powerful strikes to survive deadly encounters.

Shift between the Middle Age of Sophia and ancient Minoan times, where echoes of the past shape the battles of the present. Unfold a new story in the universe of A Plague Tale, through the entwined destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s mysterious legacy.

Guided by the knowledge safeguarded in your notebook, follow in your crew’s footsteps to explore a richly detailed world, unravel its secrets, and face deadly trials. Use a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light - a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s very heart.

It is said that only a few came back from the island. Lurking in the shadows lives a restless presence. It follows you around, seemingly knowing your every move, as it hunts through the island’s depths.
Every step is a risk. Every pause, a potential end. You can’t stop, only hide, outsmart, and push forward. Can you survive each trial and every step or will you join those who never came back?

Really glad I gave this game a chance. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this game as much as I did. It’s beautiful, emotional, and just a really good experience from beginning to end. The way each character’s story and arc is handled is genuinely great, and by the end, I actually cared about what happened to them. There were quite a few moments that unexpectedly hit me emotionally, which I really wasn’t expecting going into this. The whole game gave me a strong Uncharted vibe, especially with the exploration and cinematic moments. The puzzles, on the other hand, constantly reminded me of the old Prince of Persia games. They’re fun without being overly complicated or frustrating. Combat is also really enjoyable and can be challenging at times without feeling unfair. And man, this game is gorgeous. The graphics and level design are so good that I swear I was stopping to take screenshots every two seconds. 😂 There were so many moments where I just stopped and looked around because the environment looked that good. The sound design deserves some love too. It has this haunting and emotional quality that really adds to the atmosphere, especially during the quieter and more emotional moments. Performance-wise, I was pleasantly surprised as well. The game is very well optimized, with almost no stuttering or noticeable glitches throughout my playthrough. Also, you don’t need to have played or know much about the previous two games to enjoy Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Since this is a prequel, it works really well as an entry point into the series, so you can jump in without feeling like you’re missing a ton of context. Overall, this was one of those games I’m really happy I decided to give a chance. It scratched that Uncharted/Prince of Persia itch while still doing its own thing, and most importantly, it actually made me care about the characters and their journey. After playing this, I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing what Asobo Studio comes up with next. If this is any indication of what they’re capable of, I’m definitely excited for whatever they do next. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

This Story game Series Is One Of The Best I've Played
buenisimo
First of all, the game is awesome. I've played before the A Plague Tale series and very much liked it, and this game isn't an exception. Olivier Derivière COOKED once again with the soundtrack, just like the previous games. The Theseus visions are also very good. But the game has it's flaws. For the first 4-5 hours (for me at least) the story really wasn't catching me. The puzzles are good, but can be a bit annoying. The combat is very good and enjoyable when you figure out the quirks of it. BUT the story is amazing and very emotional like always, and the graphics are stunning. The only thing that is a problem for me is a bit of a lack of character development.
10/10, interesting story, nice graphics and gameplay
