About

Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, play as Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run but determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale.
Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur' Island, where she faces deadly trials, navigates treacherous trails, solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her. But the true challenge awaits, as the terrifying creature hidden behind the myth will soon resonate with her…

Sophia is a skilled, agile, and strong-willed fighter who engages in dynamic and violent melee combat. Followed by many enemies, each drawn to the Island to reclaim a mysterious treasure, you must navigate a treacherous maze. Rely on your agility, tricks and sharp reflexes to outsmart enemies, perfect your parries, and unleash powerful strikes to survive deadly encounters.

Shift between the Middle Age of Sophia and ancient Minoan times, where echoes of the past shape the battles of the present. Unfold a new story in the universe of A Plague Tale, through the entwined destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s mysterious legacy.

Guided by the knowledge safeguarded in your notebook, follow in your crew’s footsteps to explore a richly detailed world, unravel its secrets, and face deadly trials. Use a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light - a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s very heart.

It is said that only a few came back from the island. Lurking in the shadows lives a restless presence. It follows you around, seemingly knowing your every move, as it hunts through the island’s depths.
Every step is a risk. Every pause, a potential end. You can’t stop, only hide, outsmart, and push forward. Can you survive each trial and every step or will you join those who never came back?

Fun game. Combat is fun. Doesnt has much depth, but that is not the main focus of the game. It is a mix of combat, puzzles, hiding and running away. Story is fun and engaging. Didnt play other plague games yet, so cannot compare. Performance is great. Graphics look really nice. The game reminded me a lot of the Tomb Raider survivor series. It has similar story-length and a similiar mix of puzzles, gameplay and parkour sections. You can basically finish this game on a saturday and have a nice time with it. I really liked it played through the thing within abt 10-11hrs. It is nice that there are still some games that don't bloat their game with side quests just to hike playtime. Also for a new game, I did not encounter any bugs in my playthrough. Just a solid experience. Can recommend if you enjoy simple and effective combat, Puzzle solving and Parkour + Adrenalin rush from running away

Gameplay simple mais efficace. Ambiance, narration et mise en scène magnifique.
No me esperaba nada y estoy bastante satisfecho, a ver como avanza.
Excellent game. Very polished, great gameplay. Doesn't hit as hard as the first two Plague Tales, but is greatly crafted nonetheless.
The earlier Plague Tale games set a high bar for story and atmosphere, and Resonance clears it. Sophia carries the whole thing, the art and music are LOVELY and exactly what I wanted from this entry. The Minoan timeline is one of my fav greek myths so maybe I'm kinda biased too. Pacing felt good to me, start to finish. Combat though. I really liked the idea: 3 hits of health, kill an enemy and you get one back. In practice I feel it's maybe 80% there. Less refined than something like Assassin's Creed (tbf they've had way more time to figure that out), very fast, and even on normal a few fights felt unforgiving (but maybe it's me getting old). Something is missing in the feel that I can't name. Being able to drop the difficulty for one rough fight and put it back up after kept those moments from getting in the way of the story. And zero technical problems. It ran flawless for me, all the way through, which in 2026 is a little sad to have to praise. Absolutely recommended.
