BEST RESIDENT EVIL GAME EVER. EXPLORING IS GREAT BESIDES RENEWED ATMOSPHERE WHILE STILL SOMEHOW KEEPING ITS IDENTITY FROM THE ORIGINAL PS1 GAME. ITS JUST PERFECT. IT MAY BE A PAIN TO PLAY ON THE FIRST TIMES UNTIL YOU LEARN WHAT YOU MUST TO DO, HOW TO SAVE RESOURCES AND DEAL WITH ZOMBIES, BUT ONCE YOU LEARN THE OTHER RUNS GETS A LITTLE MORE FUN, AT LEAST IS WHAT I THOUGHT.
The classic survial-horror experience. The visuals and the atmosphere are on point, the controls and camera angles are easy to get used to, and the gameplay is an experience you don't find commonly on modern AAA games.
Molto bello.. Mentre per quanto riguarda la gestione mouse e puntatore (sempre visibile) una vera schifezza!!! Trovo assurdo che i programmatori non abbiano sistemato il problema!
Such a beautiful game. Played this game for the first time back in March of this year and gave up on it because i found it too hard. Picked up the game on Steam for 5 bucks and i absolutely loved it. A must play for any fan of Resident Evil, for any fan of horror really, too.
Cult classic. Has to be done...again..again and again
Incredible game. I'm glad I didn't wait for another potential remake, as I thoroughly enjoyed not only how unintentionally goofy the game was at times, but also its retro mechanics and design language, despite my initial reservations. I'm thankful a friend recommended I play this after I expressed my love for the RE2 remake, as my favourite type of RE experience is being trapped in a single, massive building that I have to explore and 'solve' for hours on end. The mansion was a ton of fun in that respect, while also being a very unsettling setting with some clever design choices that made great use of the fixed camera angles. That aspect definitely added a layer of intensity to exploration and combat that I've not felt with any of the other modern RE games. Also, based on what I was told about the remaster additions, they all fit seamlessly, and I couldn't imagine the game without them. During my playthrough, I was, however, steered toward some of the original RE1's sillier inclusions that I would have never known about otherwise. While I'm a little bummed they were removed (in what I'm sure was an attempt to make this version grittier), I totally understand, and the execution is still great. I just really love me some goof. I wholeheartedly recommend the game, even now. My only small gripe is that the backgrounds are very low resolution, but that didn't really bother me personally.
I'm experiencing a technical issue with Resident Evil / biohazard HD REMASTER on a ROG Xbox Ally running Windows 11. The game itself launches and runs perfectly, but opening the Video Settings menu immediately crashes the game and closes "bhd.exe". Because of this, I cannot access the game's resolution/fullscreen settings. My display is 1920×1080 at 120 Hz. The game currently does not display correctly in fullscreen, and Alt + Enter does not switch it to fullscreen either. I have also checked the game's configuration folders. The game initially did not create the expected "config.ini", so I attempted to create one manually, but the game did not respond to the settings. The important point is that the game is otherwise completely playable; the specific reproducible problem is: Launch game → open Video Settings → game crashes immediately. This appears to be a compatibility problem with the modern Windows/ROG Ally environment and the game's old video-settings implementation. Could Capcom please investigate the Video Settings crash and fullscreen/resolution handling on modern Windows 11/AMD handheld hardware? Hardware: - ROG Xbox Ally - AMD integrated GPU - Windows 11 - 1920×1080 / 120 Hz display Thank you.
es un buen survival horror creo que el unico problema que tengo es que esta mal optimizado y el tema de la puerta abriendose es un poco molesto
