Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

THE TWO SIDES OF THE STORY I don't really see a lot of people talking about this, so I'm going to say my piece from the perspective of a long-term RE fan who replays almost every title every year, the 90's trilogy included. It's not going to be a fully professional review - just some observations which make the difference for me and should be taken into account while considering the purchase of this title. The game entwines two completely different characters' fate: Grace's and Leon's. Due to that, the player experiences two different perspectives of gameplay: - Rather passive, survival-focused segments; - Aggressive and brutal, action-focused gameplay. At first, you'd think that might be a great idea, but the execution of that concept in this game fails, for multiple reasons. In my opinion, it ruins the pacing. We play one segment of Grace's perspective, then Leon's, then Grace's again etc. until the game's very end. The real issue with this solution is that once you get used to Leon's perspective, Grace's slowly starts to feel more like a chore and becomes less and less satisfying and fulfilling. Of course, that doesn't mean there is no place for the slower pace. I only mean that if execution would be better, it would make a more balanced, less chaotic experience. It really feels like the developers couldn't decide if they wanted to make an action RE or actual survival-horror, so they mixed both of these gameplay types. In other words, chose an easy solution, and easy solutions are not what make games great and memorable. There are two possible solutions I can think of that would fix this to some degree. a) Introduce Grace's whole scenario first, and then Leon's, once Grace's story is complete. That would significantly increase the replayability value, especially if you could just choose which scenario precisely you'd like to play after finishing the game for the first time. b) Never put Leon into the game, but only stick to Grace's story. Of course, that would significantly change the story and many other things the game has to offer, but to be honest, I sometimes feel like the game would be better without Leon's story. As to why, I will explain later on. If Capcom only put Grace into the game and slowly make her evolve as she experiences her nightmare, they could show her as a resourceful, intelligent character that learns quickly and as her story progresses, she learns how to fight off enemies and gains means to do so effectively. That would not only make Grace's character much stronger and make her seem less helpless and idle, but would also potentially introduce her as a permanent, meaningful character into the RE series who was put into a situation of pure terror and helplessness, but due to her strong character learned how to handle the dangers and ultimately survived the horror. Not because Leon was there, but because she would be an actually meaningful, strong and memorable character, quite the opposite of what we see in the game as it is. LEON'S SCENARIO I'm probably going to make a lot of people mad here, but I strongly feel that Leon's presence in this game makes it so difficult to replay it. Not because I dislike Leon, that's not the case at all. I just think that if you introduce such a fragile and helpless character (compared to Leon, of course) as Grace and then add Leon, the contrast between those characters is so huge that at one point one may find themself annoyed by Grace's anxiety, constant distress and ability to handle specific situations on her way. The combat system in Leon's scenario feels 'okayish' for some time, especially given his new melee weapon - the hatchet. The issue with the hatchet is that it is basically the same tool as a knife in RE4, but bears more potential to cause severe damage to the enemy. Compared to Leon's knives in RE4, the hatchet is not only a defensive tool, but an offensive one as well. Along with the hatchet, several enemy-finishing animations are introduced. The issue is... there isn't a lot of them, so they quickly start to get repetetive and just so happens that Leon's scenario takes up around 65% of a playthrough's playtime. Another thing about those animations is that once you get used to the other recent RE titles, these animations fall flat, because I oftenly find the animations in this game being lower quality than the other RE games'. They feel shorter, rougher around the edges, less detailed and less physically-correct. Another issue I have with Leon's perspective are the boss fights. Almost all of them feel stolen from the previous RE games. The Giant Spider (RE1R), Super Tyrant (RE2R), Transformed Nemesis (RE3R). That being said, not a lot of creativity was put into them. I wouldn't say they're copy-pasted, but they're not particularly satisfying, and for sure they are not original. The enemies are literal bullet sponges. It doesn't really feel like hitting their weak spots does anything more than just shooting them in their chest, which discourages aiming for headshots, which further flattens the gameplay and makes the combat repetetive and boring. To make the combat more interesting, hitting those hard to hit weak spots should be rewarding. Otherwise, the fights oftenly feel like a chore, the biggest difference being the weapon you choose to handle the specific danger with. It makes it exceptionally difficult to believe that zombies which have been decaying for around 20 years have such tough skulls that they require several headshots. It just doesn't make any sense. The motorbike ride. All I want to say about this is that this particular game sequence gave me hard RE6 flashbacks. If you know what I'm talking about, I don't need to say anything else in this regard. On the other hand, if you don't know, you're better off not knowing, because it's not even worth talking about longer than a few sentences. It's out of touch, rough around the edges, poorly animated and executed. Oftenly it doesn't even feel like you control the bike at all - it just goes the way it's supposed to go. The lack of interactivity during this sequence feels more like watching a really long, unskippable cutscene that doesn't feel like a challenge at all, therefore being much less rewarding for completing it successfully. The "B.O.W.-kill-score-counter-currency". Really? They couldn've just made you find scrap or weapon parts (even from dead enemies) throughout the game. The pure lack of logic behind that idea feels almost offensive. I would absolutely understand this kind of mechanic in the "Leon Must Die Forever" game mode, but in a canon, story campaign? That's the most out of place mechanic ever introcuded in any RE game ever, beating the 'first aid' bottles from RE7 that make your limbs reconnect instantly. Why are the chainsaws in this game sentient? Why are those inanimate objects so hard after Leon's poor existence that they can guide a laying zombie's hand all the way towards Leon? If those chainsaws are not infected living beings, then I'm out of ideas. The chainsaw fights could've been such a cool addition to the game's melee combat system, but it's literally just a sequence of spamming an attack button and passively observing the outcome (animations). A significant step back after what RE7 introduced. The fight with Jack with a chainsaw in RE7 was one of the most memorable, satisfying and well-designed fights in the entire series. Compared to RE7, this game oftenly feels like a demo version of an alpha build, if such thing even exists. LEON MUST DIE FOREVER This game mode feels very much like a poor summary of the Leon's scenario from the compaign, literally. You visit the same locations but significantly, extremely reduced in their size. I don't hate this game. It just feels extremely disappointing how it feels like a huge step backwards compared to the other recent RE releases.
Very overrated. The game starts out quite good but there is a long, long stretch during the middle that feels totally generic and monotonous. It goes on far too long for the strong opening to make up for it. The final act is okay but not great. I have played most of the main RE games throughout my life starting with the original on the PlayStation when it came out. This is actually one of my least favorite games in the series. RE7 was way better. Village was better despite going off the rails at the end. Half of this game feels like it was AI generated or left over assets from a different game that got cancelled. Like I said overrated and over hyped.
Man this is damn boring for me, dont get me wrong i used to like the franchise, but now im just bored as f...
Before this game, I never thought I could be attracted to men. But then they gave me control of Leon S. Kennedy, and something inside me broke. I changed. Thank you, Capcom. You opened a door in my life that I never even knew existed.
"Resident Evil Requiem" is an absolute masterpiece that redefines modern survival horror, blending terrifying, resource-scarce tension with pulse-pounding action. By brilliantly intertwining the psychological horror of newcomer Grace Ashcroft with the legendary, action-packed journey of Leon S. Kennedy, Capcom delivers a deeply emotional and heart-stopping experience. With its stunning atmosphere, gripping return to Raccoon City, and Blending tense, nerve-wracking scares with classic, pulse-pounding action, with unforgettable moments, it's easily one of the most thrilling rides in the franchise!
It occurred to me while I was replaying Resident Evil: Requiem on a harder difficulty that this game is really boring. It's similar to Resident Evil 6 where it tries to combine the gameplay of previous Resident Evil games and dilutes the gameplay in the process. Requiem is divided between the first-person survival horror of Resident Evil 7 and 8, with newcomer Grace Ashcroft, and the third-person action of Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident evil 4 Remake, with returning character Leon Kennedy. The survival horror sections are the better half. The lack of resources and relative non-linearity makes for a somewhat fun and tense experience. But it never evolves past the initial challenges and enemies. Once you get use to avoiding the zombies and saving your ammo there's no escalation, and the care center Grace is trapped in can be easily traversed in a minute. These problems are negligible on the first playthrough, but on replay the layout is so simple you can breeze through it, even on harder difficulty. Then it gets worse when the game dumps Grace into a much more linear dungeon that's largely stealth sections against an invincible enemy. But the action levels though, that's where it gets really bad. It's just Resident Evil 4 with less weapon customization, a less interesting locale, less interesting bullet sponge enemies, and redundant firearms. The storyline is terrible too. It's the result of trading in originality for fanservice and plot twists. Leon Kennedy goes through the exact same character arc as he did in Resident Evil 4. Grace Ashcroft makes one wonder how she even got a job at the FBI working on cases that deal with homicide linked to bioterrorism; at one point another character compares her to a five-year-old, it's suppose to be a sympathetic comment but it just underscores how pathetic Grace is as a character. And at the end Leon fights the final boss to defend the military industrial complex and the medical industrial complex. My theory is that Capcom was working on the Grace Ashcroft sections when they realized those parts just didn't have enough content to justify charging seventy dollars, so they shoehorned in scraps from the cutting room floor of previous Resident Evil games to pad it out. "Leon Must Die Forever" is RNG garbage. Have fun wasting a half hour only for the game to randomly decide on the last level that now certain types of guns are ineffective and one-hit kills are unblockable.
O que dizer sobre Resident Evil Requiem? Muita coisa.
