Resident Evil Requiem

One of the best RE games i've played

They did it again! Once more Capcom proves they know what they are doing with the Resident Evil franchise. The atmosphere of the game is amazing and the switching between Grace and Leons gameplay keeps the experience refreshing and exciting. What you have here in Requiem is a great combination of the familiar gameplay of Resident Evil 2's horror (Grace) and Resident Evil 4's action (Leon). -The weapons in this game feel great and impactful. -The knives and axes actually supplement the gameplay experience by offering defensive as well as offensive utility. -The Blisterheads are a great throwback to RE1's concept of the Crimson Heads. -The Puzzles are not too tedious and the safes and lockers offer great rewards for players that go the extra mile when exploring. -The credit system for Leon and Graces blood-crafting also seem like a great addition to the gameplay loop, since you no longer have to keep treasures in your inventory for ages just to fill them with the right gems and sell them for higher value (even though I kind of miss this concept). Although I enjoyed this game and 100% it like the other titles in the main series, it contains some sections that take away from the replayability of it: -> E.g.: The orphanage walking simulator section. -> E.g.: The underground stealth section. Apart from that, this game is almost a perfect Resident Evil game and easily deserves its place as one of my top 3 favourite Resident Evil games.
