About
REHAUNTED is a psychological detective horror game where you investigate a brutal crime scene inside a house filled with disturbing evidence, hidden secrets, and contradictions. Search the crime scene, uncover what really happened that night, and piece together a truth nobody wanted discovered.
Connor Raines arrives at a seemingly straightforward case: a young woman found dead inside her home.
But the deeper the investigation goes, the more the evidence begins to contradict itself. Blood traces, fingerprints, hidden recordings, personal belongings, and strange details slowly reveal a much darker story beneath the surface. Every room hides another piece of the truth.
Use your UV flashlight, camera, magnifier, walkie-talkie, and evidence board to uncover hidden clues invisible to the naked eye.
Stay in contact with another detective through your radio, discuss new discoveries, and choose dialogue options that expand the story, challenge your assumptions, and help you get closer to the truth behind the crime.
Connect evidence, reconstruct events, and build your own conclusions about what really happened inside the house.
The game never directly tells you the answers.
Experience atmospheric first-person gameplay with cinematic visuals, oppressive sound design, realistic environments, and unsettling supernatural moments that slowly build tension throughout the investigation.
The house feels abandoned.
But it never feels empty.

In Rehaunted, you play a detective investigating the death of Ashley inside what can only be described as an extremely normal and definitely-not-haunted house. Your job is to search the place for clues and piece together what happened. Using UV light, a magnifying glass and a camera, you can reveal hidden objects around the house which then become evidence for your investigation. You'll also stumble across other secrets, phone numbers to call and a few things that probably would've been better left undiscovered. The basic idea is pretty simple: wander through a dark house, find 10 pieces of evidence, try not to soil yourself. Every new clue usually rewards you with some kind of creepy sequence, flashback or a lovely little "something is now chasing me through the house" moment. And honestly, some of these scares got me way harder than I expected. Rehaunted has a few genuinely great horror moments that even much bigger horror games struggle to pull off. Apparently, judging by the credits, this was basically made by one dude in his spare time, and with that in mind, there's a lot here to appreciate. The atmosphere works, exploring the house is fun, and the game absolutely knows how to make a living room suddenly feel like the worst place on Earth. Big thumbs up for that. Unfortunately, playing it this close to release probably wasn't the smartest move on my part, because I also ran into several bugs. Some were minor. For example, there's no separate volume slider for the walkie-talkie conversations, so if you turn the overall volume down, those conversations can become extremely quiet. More annoying were missing objects that apparently were essential for solving some of the optional puzzles. I spent quite a while trying to figure out the codes involving the walls and the laptop, only to discover afterwards that the items I needed simply hadn't spawned in my game. You can still finish Rehaunted without solving those puzzles, so it's not game-breaking. But if you're the kind of person who sees an unfinished puzzle and immediately develops a nervous twitch, it's definitely frustrating. The good news is that the developer seems to be actively working on the problems. Another patch actually dropped shortly before I wrote this review, so I'm pretty confident most of these rough edges will get cleaned up. For around €8, I really can't complain too much. It's a short, creepy indie horror game with some surprisingly effective scares, an interesting investigation mechanic and currently a few launch-day ghosts that probably weren't supposed to be part of the haunting. Worth checking out... especially once a few more patches have exorcised the bugs.

great concept but the game bugged many times and it was a bit unclear to finish i had to guess the code and couldnt find the baby in the crib dont knowif its bugged or i was slow :(
Wow......Respectfully this game needs a lot of work. it crashes to much and the game mechanics are lackluster. I don't recommend this game at all. Game bad
I liked the story, it's pretty interesting. It also looks great and has good graphics. But my game seems to have glitched, and now I can't finish it no matter what, at least not without starting over. I'll probably return it
Honestly, game was really good. I did come across minor bugs, but nothing that was game breaking. I noticed slight collision with the banister stairs. Also, my camera didnt always flash when I tried using it on the lady. I also agree with the whole quick inventory feeling sticky. I wish I could have been able to move past the people a little easier. There also needs to be a seoarate dialoge/ sfx volume slider cause the dialogue was really quiet. Other than that, the game was really good and scared the doo doo out of me, I would definitely recommend playing it regardless of the little bugs.
One of the best horror games of the year! Pros: -The graphics and sound design are some of the best I've ever experienced in horror and they make the environment so good. -The jump scares are insane -Unique mechanic with the magnifying glass -Well optimized compared to a lot of other horror games around this price Cons: -Storyline was a little confusing -Finding some of the evidence was tedious and frustrating (derailed the flow and immersion)
The game has a little jank to it, but it's also only eight bucks and the devs have been updating it like once a day since it came out. I think it's fun enough for what it is!
