As the commander of an immensely powerful star destroyer, you’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each! Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights, and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.

Fun game. I have never use Mouse and Keyboard always found controller easier to play. The game is def a grind. If you don't like grindy games this one may not be for you.
Do you like games that employ some nonsense in the save system that will, say, overwrite your current save with a backup from 3 days prior and make 10ish hours of progress vanish like a fart in the breeze? If so, this game is for you.

Starting my third playthrough, that is how much I love this game!

A lovely game. There are a few mechanics and bugs which could need an update, but its enjoyable. And the soundtrack is a 10/10. heartbreaking how the devs stopped developing games

It's a fun game that scratches the itch of a space combat/flight sim without being too restrictive for PC specs. It's not too in depth with travelling being on a flat plane (no up/down navigating) and you can't hire crew to help improve the ship (like as in Faster Than Light), but I get to be a space trucker of contraband and run through blockades, so that's fun. The difficulty seems to increase with the value of the ship, more expensive base ship = more difficult encounters; so be mindful on how quickly you purchase a new ship. Thankfully, the game is very forgiving with purchases of ships and ship parts. To my knowledge the buying/selling is 1:1, so you don't lose money if you change your ship to a lower tier or sell a turret to a buy a different type. A shame there's practically no modding scene. Overall, this is a fun game and I recommend it.
Loved this game since the first time I played it years ago but never got to finish it due to lack of cloud saves. Randomly searched Steam for it yesterday thinking "Can't be disappointed if it's still not on here, why not check anyway?" And there it was. And now I have cloud saves and I will never lose progress again due to PC problems. Sweet. Can't wait to get back into the cockpit. <3

I didn't need to read anything to learn how to play. So refreshing! This game is entertaining. I highly recommend it.
