About

In this visual novel, you play as a city guard who gets the night off of work due to some stormy weather. With some free time on your hands, you decide the best course of action is to head to a local tavern you've never been to before. Talk to some interesting characters, eat some unknown meat, make an elf cry, and try not to be hung out to dry before the night is over.
• Multiple dialogue options and routes based on your choices
• Four unique endings and epilogues
• Multiple locations that change over time
• Girls that you might find cute (or not, I'm not going to judge you)

Great art, story, and BGM. This game is incredibly comfy and an easy 10/10
Rain And Respite Recommended Length: Very Short (<5 hours) Number of Routes: Multiple Endings Choices: Yes Failure Possible: Yes Character Rating: Very Good Story Progression: Very Good Music Rating: Good Achievement Difficulty: 1 Additional Thoughts: Short but very charming. The overall atmosphere of the story and the characters you meet with are great.
It's a little too short even for the asking price and the gameplay is just re-treading the same dialogue making slightly different options that largely converge after a few lines. I was left hoping some more expansive experience or anything to shake up the extremely well-worn Visual Novel path. But even so, the game is charming. I enjoyed all the characters, brief though our interactions may have been and that's likely the point: eliciting the feeling of meeting someone fleetingly over a drink or two.

Short and cute VN, Aewen being the cutest ofc. BUY IT!
Short, sweet and to the point, with fun characters and great art. Definitely worth the price of admission!
Very good visual novel!! i really enjoyed the writing, the characters are all very fun and cute! <3 i had a lot of fun reading it with friends , it has many endings to discover, and a secret / guest character. i really recommend it if you want to read something original and refreshing!
A quaint, but lovely little VN. The characters are cute and fun, the text flows very nicely, and it all has a strong, consistent art style. This is a very cozy way to kill an hour or two and well worth the price. You can feel the passion and effort the creator put into this. While it's a very modest game, there's a lot of room to do more with the concept in the future and I do hope one day the creator does.
A short but comfy game about being a guard and meeting likable ladies at a tavern.
Just wanted to provide a counterpoint to the universally positive acclaim. It's not a bad VN per se, but it really is just what it says on the tin: a very short, no-stakes slice of life with a bit of comedy sprinkled throughout. This type of project is a dime a dozen on itch and elsewhere, often even free — not that I'm suggesting this one in particular should be free, of course. There was just nothing to grab me here personally. What you see in the trailer is like 80% of the whole thing, only stretched to ~2 hours of playtime. The most I can say about this VN is that it's just... there. Neither good nor bad, just there. Which is arguably worse than if it was outright bad — you can at least have some fun poking holes in a bad game. For this one, whether you play it or not play it, it doesn't make a lick of difference.
Aewen is best girl. Simple as.
