Reviews
I've written multiple positive reviews for Maciej Targoni's games and this one is no exception. My play time on this game is low; I've put less than an hour in, but having played others I feel confident in my opinions. I'll edit this if that changes. This is, like many others by Maciej Targoni, a puzzle game. Not exceptionally difficult, but a puzzle game nonetheless. Where this advances beyond merely a puzzle game is the graphical style. You are thrust into a text-free void where you soon learn (by implication, not direction) that you must match the graphic shown to you by moving pieces around. What you soon find out is that you are not moving these pieces as some grand logic exercise, but as a showcase of the simplistic beauty of the visuals put before you. This game doesn't have a deep philosophical meaning, but rather it puts you in a space where you can enjoy the peace of solving a simple, good-looking puzzle with a calming audio accompaniment. For a mere 1USD, you will get an experience you can relax and enjoy for the brief time until you complete it. Nothing more or less than that.
There isn't much to No.9, but for a price of 99 cents, it's an entertaining 45-60 minutes to spend. The goal is to match two figures to each other by manipulating the bottom figure to what's displayed on the top. This gets progressively harder as movement and shapes are introduced, but the concept stays pretty accessible and (almost regrettably) never gets really difficult. As with most other games of this dev, what remains is a short, somewhat interesting puzzler that never really dares to be challenging, but remains a chill way to spend an hour looking and deciphering abstract art.

What I mistakenly took to be a simple matching game quickly became something with a unique philosophy that matched the identity of its strangely haunting environment.
beautiful, as expected

Anything by Mr. Targoni is an instant buy. This is no exception. A little short, but brilliant gameplay.
