Build your Raiding Party

Discover and hire a wide variety of followers along your journey. Party members gain experience from combat and level up, with certain followers evolving into a veteran form at max level. Losing party members in combat may result in the player gaining new positive and negative traits.

Customize your Character

Complete missions and kill enemies to gain experience and level up your character. New attribute and discipline points are awarded as you gain levels. Spend attribute points on the Power, Speed, Resilience, and Awareness player attributes to improve your character statistics and combat performance. Each attribute is tailored towards a specific play style. For example, Power is geared towards melee combat builds, while Awareness is more beneficial for ranged combat builds.

Spend discipline points on the four discipline skill trees: Melee, Ranged, Physical, and Magic, to learn new and enhance existing abilities.

Utilize Vehicle Fire Support

Equip your Longship, Airship, and Spaceship with a wide variety of weapon systems, and utilize your vehicle to provide fire support for your party in unique, mobile tower defense gameplay.

Explore the world of Severance, a post-apocalyptic, war-torn hellscape reduced to a smoldering shadow of planet earth’s former glory. Shaped by the cataclysmic effects of a sixth mass extinction event, nature has completely disappeared and humanity is on the brink of total collapse.

As you explore mission environments and kill enemies, you will collect over 100+ weapons, gear, and items to aid you on your journey.
