R.A.V.E - Real-time Audio Visual Experience

Pros: +Real potential here. Hopefully the dev keeps growing the features, documentation, and community/marketing. +Love the ability to set up your own custom tw1tch streams. First time in VR I've been able to easily DJ for friends. -Venue creator is a great idea and also allows you to upload your own 3d models. I literally recreated my real-life karaoke/dance room to hang out with friends in. +Decent graphics +Lots of venue and music customization options right off the bat. +Probably the closest competitor to the legendary WaveVR (iykyk, sadly). Cons: -VR controls aren't up to par. No ability to turn left/right by using the thumbstick. Movement thru environment isn't quite fast/smooth enough. Interacting with the wrist watch is janky. -Needs more social interactions, e.g. dance moves, interactive games, karaoke mics that override stream audio, and trippy drug "experiences" that you can do with strangers (a la WaveVR). -Character customization is neither accessible nor robust enough for a game that's almost entirely about interacting with people who are (supposed to be) different from you.

Loving this experience so far! The ability to pop in a music live stream and just vibe out in one of the created spaces, or even an entire venue built from the ground up yourself, is a blast. Love being able to mess around with the included light packages as well. Its free, give it a try!!!
